Plastic earmolds are like rocks in your ears First time hearing aid user (3 months). Hearing loss is mild to moderate in high ranges. Luckily I can get by with using the domes (earbuds) only because the hard plastic earmolds are like putting rocks in your ears. I will never wear them! Hearing aid specialist even ground them down some, but they are too uncomfortable to wear. Need a better material than hard plastic.

Best customer service ever!!!!!! I contacted starkey direct and didn't get a fast response to my query, so I contacted them again, to my astonishment one of the management team (Lesley) answered my email. This lady made me feel like her priority, she could not do enough to help me and went absolutely above and beyond!!!!! All my life I have worked in customer service and unfortunately most places are a let down or average at best..... Lesley has been absolutely fantastic throughout and a credit to the company she works for!!! UNBELIEVABLE

Bluetooth not very user friendly Considering that hearing aids are for older people, the work that went into Bluetooth connectivity is pitiful. I’ve been getting a phone call everyday from my 87 year old friend because she loses connectivity. The issue isn’t with her but rather her devices. She has EarPods which work well, but these hearing aids don’t have the same Bluetooth ease of use. I would not recommend these to anyone. They work well but keep disconnecting and pairing them, at times, is quite the feat.

They squeal a lot They squeal a lot. Just getting next to something, like inside a car or next to a kitchen cabinet set off the squealing. It is uncomfortable just to reach up to take them out because of the squealing caused by my hand. There needs to be a better filter to stop all the noise of knives and forks clanking on the plates, because all I hear at dinner is plates clanking, and my self chewing. I am effectively deaf at any dining situation.

What a waste of money What a waste of money. I have the AI Livio and still paying for it but what a disappointment. The connection with the iPhone keeps dropping - I bought especially an iPhone 13 because I’ve read of others having issues with Android. While watching tv or listening to music suddenly disconnects. In the recent days keeps turning off by itself and cannot turn it on. I keep recharging it but after that it doesn’t turn on as it should. The memories I created for particular environments are on for a few minutes but then it resets to Normal. So frustrating!
