GBWet Feet Note: I am a UK customer. I bought a pair of jungfrau 17 walking boots about four years back at just under £300 hoping they'd help me keep active with my post traumatic ankle arthritis. Disappointingly my ankle was too painful so I couldn't wear them for the first couple of years. Then I had ankle replacement surgery and discovered I could wear them - wonderful shock absorption and support. Sadly in approximately 15 months the rubber around them cracked in a couple of places and I started getting wet feet. I complained but was told the guarantee had run out - of course I'd had them for much longer than I'd used them. Now I have two bike puncture repair patches on them and continue wearing them though they look a little eccentric. For the cost this is not good and sadly I'm now looking for another type of better quality boot with the equivalent shock absorption.

GBZig-zag and straight stitching hurt The zig-zag seams along the edge of the insole are rough against my skin. I own the Gaya and didn't notice the roughness until it was broken in but since I wear socks with those it's not too bad. BUT 3 summer shoes and sandals that I ordered have rough fabric which curled into my toes and rough stitching (1 with straight stitching and 2 with zig-zag stitching). I really wanted these shoes to feel comfortable for this summer.

GBIf I could give this company a minus… If I could give this company a minus number I would. I purchased their Baekdu boot and wore it ONE time! After my hike of 3 miles BOTH of the outside soles had cracked at the instep area. I immediately sent them back asking for a refund. They are refusing to refund me in full and are only offering 1/2 refund for the boots or replacement. I don’t want a replacement, I want my money back. This is horrible and not acceptable. Any suggestions? I emailed this company several months ago regarding this matter and still haven’t heard back from them!!!!! I’m trying to let them correct their wrong.

GBAt work limping.... No more! At work, people noticed me limping. I had my steroid shots but no relief, and perhaps I bought all the shoes and inserts that promised to take my pain away, but still, my plantar fasciitis kept torturing me. My back is also going bad as my posture and walking are affected. I was reluctant to buy the shoes because of the price. Until one day I can't take it anymore and look into trying the shoes. It was the best decision and investment I've ever made. My kyBoot shoes became my best friend.

GBGreat soles, terrible uppers I bought a pair of women's hiking Kybun shoes. I love the soles - they perform as advertised. However, the uppers are terrible. Toe box is too narrow and causes pinky toe blisters (and I don't have exceptionally wide/large feet or thick socks). The ankle rim is stiff and bulky and hurts my ankles - hasn't broken in even over several hikes. I ordered a half-size larger than my usual size, and the shoes feel short and cramped. So I love the soles, but the badly constructed uppers make these shoes unusable for me.
