GBZig-zag and straight stitching hurt The zig-zag seams along the edge of the insole are rough against my skin. I own the Gaya and didn't notice the roughness until it was broken in but since I wear socks with those it's not too bad. BUT 3 summer shoes and sandals that I ordered have rough fabric which curled into my toes and rough stitching (1 with straight stitching and 2 with zig-zag stitching). I really wanted these shoes to feel comfortable for this summer.

GBGreat soles, terrible uppers I bought a pair of women's hiking Kybun shoes. I love the soles - they perform as advertised. However, the uppers are terrible. Toe box is too narrow and causes pinky toe blisters (and I don't have exceptionally wide/large feet or thick socks). The ankle rim is stiff and bulky and hurts my ankles - hasn't broken in even over several hikes. I ordered a half-size larger than my usual size, and the shoes feel short and cramped. So I love the soles, but the badly constructed uppers make these shoes unusable for me.

GBNow I can walk again I'm so happy that I came across kyBoot shoes. I suffered from Plantar fasciitis and walking caused pain in my foot and heal, it made me feel really old to be hobbling around. With these wonderful shoes now I can walk again and it is liberating! I walk everywhere with a great sense of freedom and independence. I have three pairs, an everyday shoe, a sandal and a gold sandal for special occasions, i won't wear anything else.

GBWet Feet Note: I am a UK customer. I bought a pair of jungfrau 17 walking boots about four years back at just under £300 hoping they'd help me keep active with my post traumatic ankle arthritis. Disappointingly my ankle was too painful so I couldn't wear them for the first couple of years. Then I had ankle replacement surgery and discovered I could wear them - wonderful shock absorption and support. Sadly in approximately 15 months the rubber around them cracked in a couple of places and I started getting wet feet. I complained but was told the guarantee had run out - of course I'd had them for much longer than I'd used them. Now I have two bike puncture repair patches on them and continue wearing them though they look a little eccentric. For the cost this is not good and sadly I'm now looking for another type of better quality boot with the equivalent shock absorption.

GBYou couldn't make it up About 6 months ago i requested a size 13 boot in lieu of a size 12.5 when available. Initially put on hold i tried a few more times but response was not forthcoming. Plagues by kybun adverts i have just responded by trying again and have come to a dead end while trying to order again, a test pair . Its so infuriating that the daily adverts have become a wonderment.
