Awful inventory system. Many items out of stock with no notification until days later. I'm a Vitamin Shoppe customer and have placed many online orders in the past. I'd say about 30% of the time my order is delayed due to items that are out of stock but continue to be sold on their site. Many times, notification of the delay status doesn't come for 5 days or more, and then the expected ship date is another 2 weeks from that point. Customer service reps are friendly but of little to no help as all they can do is repeat what you already know. This is yet another business that will continue to lose business to competitors such as Amazon, who seem to have a monopoly on the best real-time inventory system out there.

Great Product Line and Top Unique Selection Vitamin Shoppe for me has one of the best overall brand selection/flavors/specialty items that other supplement shops simply do NOT. I'm confused by the reviews of people taking out their poor protein powder experiences on the shop that sells them. They are not the manufacturer. I've not dealt with their customer service line, but all of the workers and cashier's I've dealt with have made my visits a wonderful experience. I am very happy with my experiences with Vitamin Shoppe in Sandy, Utah!
