GBLooks like we got got First... Wow@Carolina. I'm in the exact same boat. I'm in Round Rock and my glasses broke literally at the one year mark. I'm writing this review from my driver's seat. Because I attempted to go to the Palm Valley location yesterday and my Google maps indicated they are closed on Wed/Sun. Didn't indicate permanent closure for whatever reason till I got my kiddo off school bus and got us in the car to head out. Saw permanently closed instead of business hours when i opened GPS. So then started looking to see what recourse I have and found an article that claims the rebranding makes more stores available..."This brand transition creates a larger footprint, expanding the ability to serve eyecare customers across the U.S. Compared to 167 locations for My Eyelab, the transition will allow eyewear shoppers to use 277 Stanton Optical for all their eyecare and eyewear needs..." The same article ends with "The company continues to expand its retail footprint with almost 300 corporate and franchise locations in 30 states. Ninety-four percent of all My Eyelab stores joined the Stanton Optical network. There are now 192 Stanton Optical corporate stores and 86 Stanton Optical franchise stores." VisionMonday dotcom slashbusiness/article "now-optics-rebrands-my-eyelab-to-stanton-optical" But 92+86is 178 not 277. Then I'm looking for locations and what im finding is consistent with my elementary level math... They CLOSED STORES AND PUBLISHED PROPAGANDA CREDITING THEMSELVES WITH GROWTH on the bullspit premise of customer demand. I fully believe that we got got. I will be reaching out to BBB as the nice gentleman in the previous post suggested. Looking at my invoice ... I never figured out how the 79 dollar promo w free exam ended up inflated to almost 1grand before the discount knocked us down to "only" 560ish. I've stopped into the eye dept at target a time or two when no customer was present just to see whether they can help rationalize the numbers. And I've left PISSED over the fly designer frames I would have still paid less for overall. With the sudden rebranding It really seems that we got got in order for the company to raise the funds to settle their lawsuit without cutting into profits. And I feel like they PURPOSELY shifted into market areas that are notoriously consumer UNFRIENDLY to limit accountability and protect their profits. An honest company wouldn't shutter on the hush and cloak in secrecy their pulling out of a rich market like the Austin Sun City area. This feels a lot like a robbery set in the old west. Bang bang giddy up cmon boys let's move em on out fore they come lookin.

GBHow to get a refund from Eyelab Well , it seems that they're changing their name . No surprise considering how bad their reputation is . If you didn't get a refund as promised , file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau . I filed complaints with every agency I could find with no results . When I finally contacted the BBB I got a call from Eyelab within 2 days and a refund within a week ! Screw My Eyelab and Stanton Optical !

GBMonth Two of Pandemic $59,00 for Exsam… Month Two of Pandemic $59,00 for Exsam and Two Pairs. FEBRUARY 23 $69,00, APRIL 23 $95,00. The overabundance of Plastic in our environment and Lucite have Not Increased. Yet again A Earthling Run Business EDGES Profits by Giving A Prime Example of How Far They Can Push Profits For Greed. I am A Google Guide and this is wrong. One Replacement Frame $79,00 and Manufacturer (Stanton Optical) factory is in Lake Worth,Florida.

GBI really don’t think they deserve 1… I really don’t think they deserve 1 star….unfortunately I bought insurance on my glasses and they were of no help…apparently all locations in Austin are closed and the closest one is in Killeen, Texas….if you call the number on the store in Parmer Ln. they are of no help….they say someone 🤷🏽♀️ will get intouch with me and help but I highly doubt that….when all of their locations in Austin, Texas are closed. I regret purchasing my glasses here and much less their insurance 🤦🏽♀️ please don’t waste your time there
