GBSo far so good with WLIAZ I am a new patient with WLIAZ. I have had 3 separate appointments with them in preparation for the VSG and have to say they seem to treat me well. I had a little bit of a hard time getting ahold of them for some questions but once i got ahold of them they were very friendly. Dr. Orris is going to be the one to do the procedure for me and after meeting with him he seems to be very nice and informal. Answering any and all my questions the best he could to make me understand everything. At this time i have to say I'm pleased with all my services so far and hoping it continues throughout my whole journey.

GBExcellent Service I had The Lapband done is 2012 with Dr. Orris, the office and staff and especially Dr. Orris were Amazing, they helped to get my procedure covered and went above and beyond my expectations. Five months after my procedure I became pregnant, so Dr. Orris had to unfill my band, almost two years later, I came back to see him to start my fills again, and again, Everyone was nice, supportive and accommodating. They work with you, if your insurance doesn't pay for your fills, and are always available to answer any questions. I can't say enough about WLIA, I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking to weight loss surgery, they are honest, upfront, and I love Dr. Orris's directness!

GBMy choice is WLIAZ For many years I have tried and failed to lose weight so in desperation I decided to turn to weight loss surgery. After doing some research online I decided that Weight Loss Institute Of Arizona was right for me. I met with Dr. DeBarros and Dr. Orris at my initial consultation. They were both friendly, professional, answered all of my questions, and alleviated any concern I had about the procedure. I was very satisfied with the care that I received and am greatly looking forward to my procedure.

GBEveryone was very nice and pleasant. I really wish i could get help from the office on getting the surgery I want through my insurance. I was advised to call the insurance myself and I did and didn't get anywhere other than the insurance saying that the doctor needs to write why it's important for me to have the surgery. I told the insurance that my knees hurt and diabetes runs in my family, but they still didn't listen to me. Now I don't know what to do because I don't know if I could do it financially too. But really need this surgery to be done.

GBGet EVERYTHING in writing and then keep it for...ever. I had an egd done with Dr. Orris late last year, 2014. He told me that would include one fill after the procedure. I went in in November, 2014 and had the fill. No problems, no issues, no charge. It is now September 18th.... 2015... and I'm being billed $264.00 for said fill. I called up the office. I was transferred to Jennifer in the billing department. I explained the situation. She was nice and helpful, told me she'd research it and get back to me. She called me back and said, "you weren't charged for the visit. .. only the fill." I asked her for clarification. .. even though that's NOT what I was told during my egd and the following visit when I had my fill... In November. ...of 2014. She said yes... I'm sorry but there's nothing in writing. So... I provided my payment information over the phone and advised her I would write a review. Here it is. Almost a year later I'm being billed for something I was told there'd be no charge for. .. and when questioned about it... I'm told... oh you weren't billed for the visit. ... just the fill. ?? Wow....
