Incorrect time on text message My appointment in store - Ilford - was booked for 4.30pm on 21th May. I received instead a CENTRAL text message the day after indicating (WRONGLY) that the appointment was at 5pm ??!! I checked with the Ilford store and they confirmed that it was booked for 4.30! This had happened to me before. The lady on general enquiries apologised but was unable to find the reason. A real nuisance. Sub-standard service. I’m going to IGNORE their nuisance and incorrect text messages from now on.

Appalling customer service This was the first time I had a rye test at Boots Opticians and it was absolutely an appalling experience. I visited Boots Opticians at Shouthside shopping centre at Wandsworth. I felt it was like a factory going and being rushed throughout separate stages. They make you feel that you’re expecting to buy glasses after you’re done and most importantly they don’t give your eye prescription, which you’ve just paid for. Instead, you’d need to phone, email, and phone again for them to send it to you. Not impressed!

Boots Opticians Beckenham Great Team I went to Boots Opticians Beckenham and that is a great team. I have been seen in a minute. They did an eye test very professionally and got a GP referral. The lady who showed me the frames was really patient and kind. They checked all my old frames and lenses if any would be still useful. I ordered two pairs of glasses and one was half-price. Overall great experience, five star!
