GBLexie B1 by Bose Hearing Aid - Failed Product & Support While the product (B1 by Bose) is decent, the reliability is poor to unacceptable. The wires fail regularly and as mentioned by many people, are not a warranty item and need to be purchased at $50 each failure (I have had 3 failed). Unfortunately this is not the only problem, customer service and shipping are also very poor. I have been waiting for nearly 4 weeks from my purchase date to receive a replacement wire. The part has been shipped twice and because Lexie only uses USPS, they have no idea why the part has not been delivered. They insist that they are only able to ship via USPS and also insist that it's not their problem that the USPS can not complete a delivery to my mailbox in a condo building (normal keyed cluster mailbox). Lexie was unwilling to do anything to expedite shipping on the third attempt. To make matters worse, Bose the manufacturer was my initial experience with the product that also failed. They offered a refund if I returned the original (failed) set and re-purchased from Lexie which I did. It was returned in September 2022 and now at the end of January 2023, Bose says they have no idea why they have not issued my credit only to confirm that its a "really long time". This business partnership between Bose and Lexie seems like a scam. They do not stand behind the product at all, offer "Worst in Class" customer service and are unable to refund money that they agree is not theirs. As I stated earlier, the product when it works is decent and a good value. Unfortunately, the product requires support which is non existent. Have a Great Day! John Butler

GBGreat hardware and customer service, mediocre app The B2's are great hearing aids. They restored the crispness and definition to my hearing which has been deteriorating for several years. The performance and customizability are excellent. It's very nice not to have to depend on an audiologist for adjustments. They are comfortable and hardly noticeable after a few minutes. Battery life is more than adequate; they're only down to about 40% after using them all day. But the phone app is weak. It didn't connect reliably to two different Android phones (versions 9 and 13), despite spending over an hour with Support on the phone, and the tone control is a simple "bass/treble" slider instead of a multi-band equalizer. Customer support is great though. Very responsive, actual people answer the phone, and agent Jane Zwane was patient, dedicated, and a pleasure to work with. She and the hardware get five stars but the app only two, which I guess makes four overall.

GBFor what they are I have not worn hearing aid in the past. I didn't know what to expect or what they would sound like. I find them comfortable when I got the right earpiece that fit me. Over all they have been very good. Once I get used to wearing hearing aids I will look for better quality aids (Bluetooth streaming and rechargeable batteries). For what they are I'll give them 5 stars because they work as advertised.
