GBI ordered some premium stretcher and… I ordered some premium stretcher and crossbars from Blicks and they emailed me because my order did not add up. Come to find out I ordered the wrong size crossbars for my order and they caught it, and corrected it. Their emails to me where prompt, within the day, and I really appreciate the extra help they gave me on my questions and my order.

GBSunday-bad experience with cashier Sunday, I visited the Omaha store and was looking for a canvas and was not finding the size I was looking for. When I asked for help in finding an alternate size I was told "Art is a very personal thing". OK, I get it but are there optional canvas sizes that could meet my need? We are talking an art supply to create art not art. When I tried to explain why I was looking for help and that I had driven al long way, the cashier evidently didn't like my tone of voice and became defensive and I was told by her that I shouldn't talk to her that way (what way?) and I should leave. I had a purchase I had bought the previous day with me and I didn't think would work for me, so I said I soon as I got the credit I would leave the store. I was then told by the cashier that the staff was just minimum wage earners paid to cash out customers and had no knowledge of art or art supplies. (salesperson 71700). She handled my return expediently and I left. Unfortunately, given my treatment, I doubt I will ever return to the store and its going to be tough to continue to refer other people there. I had been to this store several times before and was able to get assistance and had referred others there. Unfortunately, one bad experience takes away three good experiences.

GBThey ship via the slowest possible… They ship via the slowest possible method, despite charging for shipping. Their shipping page makes it look like they ship via FedEx Home. Nope, SmartPost which is absolutely the worst method. The likelihood of a package being lost or delayed for weeks is very high. Don’t order any that you actually need from here.

GBI ordered some crackle effect spray… I ordered some crackle effect spray paint from Blick art. Out of 8 different cans, 3 wouldn’t spray so i called their customer service. they were very polite and they sent me replacements within 3 days that work without making things difficult. Thank you!

GBGreat Customer Service I placed my online order shortly after the holidays, so a couple of items were back-ordered, but everything else arrived about a week later. One item was missing from my order and when I emailed Customer Service about it they responded promptly. Not only did a real person respond (a rarity these days), but she was also friendly and informative. Overall, great customer service! :)
