GBBlick approved face coverings I was browsing for acetate tracing film wearing a PA state approved face shield. The store representative informed me that it was not acceptable even though the Pennsylvania CDC web site states that it is acceptable. He stated that only a cloth mask is store policy and told me I HAD to wear a cloth type covering. Which indicates that Blick does NOT follow PA CDC guidelines. He then walked away and did not bother to ask how he could assist me. I left the store and shopped for my art supplies somewhere else.

GBDick Blick uses Fedex Dick Blick uses Fedex. Fedex fails to deliver packages to my address, although UPS delivers every day. When told Dick Blick was told my order had been delayed several days beyond its stated delivery date, Dick Blick was unconcerned. Each morning, I'm told the order is on the truck. Each afternoon, I'm told that the order is delayed due to 'operational issues'. (Strangely, Fedex changes this to 'unable to deliver' later.) I will find another online art store that cares about their customers.

GBSo they do listen to reviews after all It’s nice that this site not only gets the exact items I ordered, but the quality is great too. I used to have shipping issues months ago probably because of past technical difficulties on their website but in recent times, it’s not a problem for me. Turns out, I should be double checking my information and not just the orders.

GBI purchased a 906 etching press several… I purchased a 906 etching press several months ago and it was a great little press with one problem. The blankets would pull to one side after several pulls and I would then have to reset. I kept trying to adjust the tension and ended up with a damaged turn screw. Spoke with tana this morning and she has issued me a return label and will be sending a new press first so I can use shipping box to return the damaged press. This is terrific customer service. Tana you’re the best

GBSunday-bad experience with cashier Sunday, I visited the Omaha store and was looking for a canvas and was not finding the size I was looking for. When I asked for help in finding an alternate size I was told "Art is a very personal thing". OK, I get it but are there optional canvas sizes that could meet my need? We are talking an art supply to create art not art. When I tried to explain why I was looking for help and that I had driven al long way, the cashier evidently didn't like my tone of voice and became defensive and I was told by her that I shouldn't talk to her that way (what way?) and I should leave. I had a purchase I had bought the previous day with me and I didn't think would work for me, so I said I soon as I got the credit I would leave the store. I was then told by the cashier that the staff was just minimum wage earners paid to cash out customers and had no knowledge of art or art supplies. (salesperson 71700). She handled my return expediently and I left. Unfortunately, given my treatment, I doubt I will ever return to the store and its going to be tough to continue to refer other people there. I had been to this store several times before and was able to get assistance and had referred others there. Unfortunately, one bad experience takes away three good experiences.
