GBGood customer service and quick turn around time I am a little disappointed with the Star Gazer trophies I received. The one that I have unpacked has a scratch (multiple lines) across the back of the silver star. At least the front of the silver star is not scratched. Where the trophy joins the base there is overflow of material on the base. Where the star joins the art glass it is rough and not smooth. Maybe a little better quality control before things are shipped. I have not looked at the second one I ordered but it will probably be the same. At the $300 mark for the two trophies it would be better if there were no boo boos. It would also be very nice if you could figure out some sort of presentation box for these trophies rather that pillow packing and cardboard box. Thanks.

GBA Good Company I had a good experience with FineAwards. The customer service was great and the product was beautiful. However, the engraving on the product was lighter than I would have liked (it is difficult to see) and also when you open the box that the award came in with the binding on the lift (the way you would open a book) the award is upside down. If giving advice to a friend, I would tell them to address these issues before accepting delivery. RESPONSE: I have had the same item engraved by a local engraver and the non-color etching they did was much easier to see and read. My point was that it was done very lightly and difficult to read. RESPONSE #2: I agree with your assessment of the classiness factor of the non-color etching and had it been bolder it would be perfect. Again, it's a beautiful award and your staff customer service was great.

GBThe intervention that saved this customer Due to some confusing language, we had an order that shipped when it should have been held on site for names to be engraved as the employees approached their 10th anniversary. This led to me having 14 awards I had no use for. The person I was dealing with was not responsive to the problem. When I threatened to pull my business, the right Customer Service person stepped in. Everything was resolved and refunded. We will continue using Fine Awards since it seemed to be just one employee in the way, not the culture of the company in the way.
