GBI took a risk based on price alone.. turns out no risk at all. I got into Kayak fishing 3 years ago after buying a used kayak from a friend. Seeing how it was right at the beginning of the pandemic and money was tight and jobs were scarce cost was an issue. After getting used to fishing on my $30 Walmart spinning reel / rod combo, I wanted to get into baitcasting. Knowing noting about baitcasters or even fishing gear in general. I went on Amazon and got complete sticker shock when I discovered the average cost of a baitcaster. After doing some price shopping I came across the kastking valiant eagle baitcaster for $40. I figured that's a price I could afford to "Loose" (Compared to $65 or more for other brands) if the quality was horrible.. It wasn't and I l loved it even though not knowing any better I was using a baitcaster on a spinning rod.. My wife being jealous of how far I could cast compared to her spinning reel, I got her the same modle baitcaster. Now the two of us were fishing with baitcasters on spinning rods... Long story short. Three years and some research later, Between the two of us, we have 7 kastking baitcasters ( on the correct rods ) 5 Kast king rods, 1 kasking spinning reel, tackle bags, gloves,hat and even 5 pairs of kast king sunglasses.. All because of the quality, longevity ( Just like a gun or a roomba you do have to clean and oil them from time to time after heavy use), and most importantly the COST.. This is huge for two parents who have to spend most of their money on bills and kids...

GBGood Company I have a large amount of Kastking products, always had good customer service when there were any issues which are far and few between, not saying that you can't have issues, but with any companies product sometimes issues do happen. Also with the amount of gear I have, never had any issues with anything.

GBHorrific Customer Service - The Worst...Ever I gave a 2 because their baitcasting reels are incredible and I own 6 of them - love all of them. My rating is for their customer service which is hands down the worst experience I've ever had...ever. They farm it out to China and communication is difficult with the language barrier. I needed new knobs and asked them for help since they don't have them on their website...after 5 emails back and forth (no one answers their phones) I gave up and ordered generic from amazon. So sad, because I love their baitcasting reels but will never order from them again because of their horrific customer service.

GBAlways had great experiences with customer service! Always had great experiences with KastKing products and customer service. Never had a reel or tool break. Broken a couple rods by my own mistakes but KastKing (specifically Winnie in customer service) has always responded within 24 hours and replaced my rods, no questions asked, and I had a new rod in 3 days. When a Spirale rod I ordered came in the mail broken in half, they sent out a new rod right away and again I had it in 3 days. A few weeks ago I ordered some new TriPolymer line off the website. Apparently I caught it the second it went up for sale because the price was $0. I ordered 4 spools but only received 1. I talked to customer service and they said that the website price was a mistake but they went ahead and sent 1 to me for free instead of cancelling the whole order. I thought that my whole order was going to be cancelled the second I placed it and don't care that they didn't fulfill the whole order but it was nice of them to at least send 1 spool honoring their mistake. That's good customer service in my book! KastKing's customer service and quality has earned a customer for life!

GBCustomer Service is awesome Customer Service is awesome! Responded fast and fixed my issue. Had a rod arrive broken in half during shipment and they sent me a new one within 2 days. That is great customer service! I kept the broken one for spare parts in case I snap a tip or something....
