Nine days in… I am just nine days in and am still in the fingers 'very sore' stage but I am enjoying the lessons immensely. I am a 73 year old complete beginner following both Lisa's and Anders' 'Guitar Fundamentals 1' concurrently and there is no doubt that I am making progress. I hate to look back but I wish I had done this years ago but, looking forward, I am confident that with Guitar Tricks I will learn to play guitar. Fantastic!

beginner guitar player I am just learning to play guitar and have decided to try learning through Guitar Tricks. I have just started so I couldn't quite rate a 5 yet, but gave it a 4 because so far it has been easy enough to follow along with and get comfortable.

I am a 70 year old man that thought I… I am a 70 year old man that thought I was too old to learn to play guitar. Will I was wrong I found out I was wrong. I found Guitar tricks!! It opened up a whole new world for me. I have a pretty bad memory but with Guitar tricks I can go as slow as I want until it sinks in. I love using Guitar tricks, it’s fun learning now because it doesn’t feel like work anymore. I wish it was around years ago when I first tried to learn. Finally getting somewhere I took some courses on another platform but found them pretty unstructured overall. It bothered me that instructors showed off their skill without giving proper instruction. I picked up some great tricks from Rusty on Youtube. But I wanted to get a proper foundation and now on Guitar Tricks I finally feel that I am getting somewhere to build on.

So far, So good It's very early in the game (I have only been taking the online lessons for 4 days), but I am already impressed by how the site is so well organized. The lessons are easy to follow but are also fun. I look forward to (re)learning to play the guitar after a half-century layoff.
