Nine days in… I am just nine days in and am still in the fingers 'very sore' stage but I am enjoying the lessons immensely. I am a 73 year old complete beginner following both Lisa's and Anders' 'Guitar Fundamentals 1' concurrently and there is no doubt that I am making progress. I hate to look back but I wish I had done this years ago but, looking forward, I am confident that with Guitar Tricks I will learn to play guitar. Fantastic!

So far, So good It's very early in the game (I have only been taking the online lessons for 4 days), but I am already impressed by how the site is so well organized. The lessons are easy to follow but are also fun. I look forward to (re)learning to play the guitar after a half-century layoff.

beginner guitar player I am just learning to play guitar and have decided to try learning through Guitar Tricks. I have just started so I couldn't quite rate a 5 yet, but gave it a 4 because so far it has been easy enough to follow along with and get comfortable.

Excellent value! I have greatly appreciated Guitar Tricks' course work. Not knowing anything about playing I've appreciated how basic, short, and encouraging each lesson is. It gives you time to pause, re start watch, listen and learn. If you have trouble you can always go back. Anders is very encouraging and online nice, the kind of person you wish you could be friends with. For a very new player he slows down and shows every step. Overall I am extremely satisfied and it is well worth the cost. 1 week and I am comfortable with four chords.

I just started using Guitar Tricks I just started using Guitar Tricks, and I have been trying to learn to play the guitar off and on for 40 years! I had books and I would practice for several months, get frustrated and quit for a year or more. This process has continued and I haven't gotten very far. I already see a huge advantage to having a person talk about the lesson and demonstrate the lesson for you. I didn't even know that I should use my fingertips! I'm excited to continue and see where this leads me. I think the instructor is good at talking you out of becoming frustrated, which has been my major problem.
