ITGood and funny place for learning guitar I am self-taught and consider myself to be at an intermediate level. I signed up to improve and started the basic courses. Even though I was already familiar with many concepts and techniques, reviewing them allowed me to refine some things I took for granted. Furthermore, the fact that for each session there is a song that you do together with the teacher makes everything more fun and flowing.

CAPath to success This looks like i may finally have a path to success. I purchased their biggest competitor, and even though they are very good, I needed more structure, Guitar Tricks offers that. I was hoping they would offer a Jazz component, but Blue is the main area of interest. I started from introduction 1 and because I do have some experience some of the videos were not needed and others were a review, It was worth it to give me a feel on how to best use the lessons. I have now started down the blues path and enjoying it. I would have like it if the instructor kept the distortion off his guitar so I can compare clean sounds but I'll get over it. I'm a 65 yr old student, so you can do it.. Go for it!

GBbeginner guitar player I am just learning to play guitar and have decided to try learning through Guitar Tricks. I have just started so I couldn't quite rate a 5 yet, but gave it a 4 because so far it has been easy enough to follow along with and get comfortable.

PRAfter many years, I finally decided to take this online⦠I finally decided to take this online guitar course after decades of not playing the guitar. The starting course by Anders Mouridsen is excellent. They may sound "elemental", but are not. Just the opposite. It is truly enjoyable and with patience, it will teach you the ABC's of guitar playing if you dedicate yourself to it. Hopefully by the end of the summer of 2024, I'll be inducted into the R&RHOF...!!

GBI just started using Guitar Tricks I just started using Guitar Tricks, and I have been trying to learn to play the guitar off and on for 40 years! I had books and I would practice for several months, get frustrated and quit for a year or more. This process has continued and I haven't gotten very far. I already see a huge advantage to having a person talk about the lesson and demonstrate the lesson for you. I didn't even know that I should use my fingertips! I'm excited to continue and see where this leads me. I think the instructor is good at talking you out of becoming frustrated, which has been my major problem.
