ITGood and funny place for learning guitar I am self-taught and consider myself to be at an intermediate level. I signed up to improve and started the basic courses. Even though I was already familiar with many concepts and techniques, reviewing them allowed me to refine some things I took for granted. Furthermore, the fact that for each session there is a song that you do together with the teacher makes everything more fun and flowing.

GBNine days in… I am just nine days in and am still in the fingers 'very sore' stage but I am enjoying the lessons immensely. I am a 73 year old complete beginner following both Lisa's and Anders' 'Guitar Fundamentals 1' concurrently and there is no doubt that I am making progress. I hate to look back but I wish I had done this years ago but, looking forward, I am confident that with Guitar Tricks I will learn to play guitar. Fantastic!

GBSo far I've had a very positive… So far I've had a very positive experience with this lesson plan. I'm only on chapter 3 of the guitar fundamentals 1. But so far everything is broken down to manageable size lessons that by the end. all the small lessons come together to a complete thought. The customer service has been great also. And there is so much information I haven't even discovered it all yet. Imo if your thinking about getting it. Just go for the whole year membership and take your time with it. Definitely worth it.

PRAfter many years, I finally decided to take this online… I finally decided to take this online guitar course after decades of not playing the guitar. The starting course by Anders Mouridsen is excellent. They may sound "elemental", but are not. Just the opposite. It is truly enjoyable and with patience, it will teach you the ABC's of guitar playing if you dedicate yourself to it. Hopefully by the end of the summer of 2024, I'll be inducted into the R&RHOF...!!

AUI have started and stopped playing… I have started and stopped playing guitar many times. Started as a teenager, and tried to learn from books. I learned basic chords, and a few songs, but would get bored and dissatisfied and quit. Now at 49, I am determined to finally play guitar well enough to enjoy playing for myself and with other musicians. I started guitar tricks one week ago, and it is the best money I have spent learning guitar. I started with the fundamentals 1 course and can’t believe how fast my skills have increased in such a short time. The course exercises build upon one another in such an organised and well thought out manner. I wish I had access to this 30 years ago. I enrolled in a music theory class at university, and was so overwhelmed, I had to drop out after 3 days. In one week, I have already memorised the notes on the fret board. It has been so fun and enjoyable, that my intention to just practice for 10-30 minutes has turned into 2-3 hours per day, because I lose track of time, and get so excited to see what is next in the course exercises.
