According to the tracking info from the shipping company, the label was created, but the package was never received by the shipping company. I never received the items I ordered, and Alibris stated that, "They must have been lost in the mail." They have refused to issue a refund or ship the items I ordered. I now have to get legal involved just to get a refund.

Wish their shipping department was better trained I was so disappointed and saddened to receive the three books I ordered, and the two hardcovers (which were gifts) were damaged so much that I had to return them. They were packaged in a box with barely any padding--just a strip of sealed air pouches on top--so the books slid around and the corners of the box got crushed, crushing the books at the same time. It is such a waste of new books and resources. I hope that Alibris trains their team better so that this doesn't happen again. I ended up buying from a local bookstore to make sure I could get the books in good condition.

You better follow up! Alibris is fine for finding books, and the sales process is easy and they take your money. HOWEVER be aware that some sellers like "Hippobooks" will take your money and never ship your book. If you don't check up quickly, they will say it's past the deadline and stonewall you. Alibris DOES NOT support the customer in these cases.

Alibris and their sellers make it right. Out of perhaps 200 transactions through Alibris I have only experienced 3 problems. Each time I contacted Alibris and then the seller involved, the seller then provided a satisfactory solution, for me, for the problem.
