You better follow up! Alibris is fine for finding books, and the sales process is easy and they take your money. HOWEVER be aware that some sellers like "Hippobooks" will take your money and never ship your book. If you don't check up quickly, they will say it's past the deadline and stonewall you. Alibris DOES NOT support the customer in these cases.

Everything went perfectly The books that I wanted were there, at good prices, along with a few that I hadn't known about. Communication was excellent, and the books were all as advertised.

I paid for new books from them I paid for new books from them. According to the tracking info from the shipping company, the label was created, but the package was never received by the shipping company. I never received the items I ordered, and Alibris stated that, "They must have been lost in the mail." They have refused to issue a refund or ship the items I ordered. I now have to get legal involved just to get a refund.

Good options and fast shipping This book (The War in Bosnia-Herzegovina) came recommended as a good book to learn about the conflict but appears to be out of print and is quite expensive elsewhere. We were able to find a good quality used copy for very cheap from Alibris, and from a seller that uses their funds to promote literacy in local children. The book shipped very quickly as well. It was all around a very good experience!
