The Customer service person was very easy to work with and answered all my questions to her best ability. I decided to place my order over the phone with her and couldn't be happier. I received an order confirmation almost immediately and I just got my shipping notification less than 24hrs later. What's even more impressive is the order is already scheduled for deliever tomorrow! MSR Denali SMU Snowshoe. What is "SMU"? Well an "SMU" is a Special Makeup Unit that is not sold on the general market. "Factory Seconds" or "Blems" is an other way of putting it. These are products that the manufacturer through quality control did not pass standards and were pulled. I noticed the "SMU" label on the product description when I received my Denali snowshoes. This was not in the description of the product on the website. But all in all I thoroughly inspected the snowshoes and see no noticeable problems or "Blemishes". Bindings, traction bars, and the deck are similar to each other and have no noticeable differences or issues. www. wildernessx. com sells them cheaper for $99.95. Just a heads up on that.

Great Experience - Inexpensive Pricing on Standard Equipment I purchased some XL snowpants last December (2013) about a week before Christmas. I placed my order without any issues and received confirmation and shipping details rather quickly. My order was delivered 2 days after Christmas which was pretty awesome considering there were only a few business days from the time I ordered and they were delivered.
