So I just signed up...the tariff was… So I just signed up...the tariff was stated at $19.95 for the month subscription. Imagine my shock to see my bank had been deducted exactly £75.22. Outrageous. Money we simply don't have to spare. Surely this is illegal? Maybe just being taken advantage of because I am foreign

Signed up for a membership on Nov 1 Signed up for a membership on Nov 1, 2019, and canceled on Dec 26.No refund issued and after several emails have finally been told I will still have to wait for a refund. If I had not checked my Visa statement they would have never issued a refund. I also had to provide them with a copy of the cancellation email I received before they would authorize a refund. So if I had lost this I was screwed. I would not recommend JamPlay to anyone.

Jamplay Review I enjoy the jamplay web site. I find the tools particularly usefull for example the scales tool box are very useful. I think that each user will get out of jamplay what they put into it. Some of the instructors are good some, not so much. I think that jamplay should add a section of instruction on how to play specific songs by catalogue. For example, offer instruction on the Eagles, Beatles, Clapton in order to ensure that each student can access those areas of concern which are important to them as individuals. Other that that, it is a great site.

No good for absolute beginners As an absolute beginner I found the lessons to be way too complex and kind of dull. For example in lesson 3 there might be 5 new chords with difficult finger positions, then on top of that there will be some extra concept that is mentioned only briefly. The supplemental materials are written in musical notation that does not seem to be explained anywhere on the site. The site itself feels clunky and outdated. There is no structure to the site, you just have to randomly pick a series of videos and then hope that they are kind of OK. I guess there is also a lot of overlap. Cancelling my membership was fairly easy, but I did need to speak to a person in support through their chat app.

Awesome service Great content and a wonderful array of teachers delivering it. I've not been with jamplay.com for long, but I'm really enjoying learning with them. Any negatives? Only a couple. 1.) The android app doesn't appear to be compatible with my particular kindle. 2.) There is no way to cache videos offline for circumstances where you have no internet.
