£240 a year for a family subscription… £240 a year for a family subscription is too much. Price increases are happening every year now and are above the rate of inflation. An AI DJ is not worth the money, the accent of the DJ is unbearable and unable to be customised. Audiobooks can be sourced elsewhere. I don’t need to listen to a podcast on Spotify and the algorithms give me the same stuff. I can’t stop listening to an artist anymore, only remove the song from the playlist. I can’t dive into an album and pick up seamlessly when I’m listening to a playlist. I can’t remove songs from my recently played if for example I’ve been listening with a child and don’t want Disney to pop up when I’m on my own. The list is longer than this, but my score reflects how I feel. I’ve been a subscriber since the beginning and a paying subscriber since they started charging. I won’t accept another price increase in less than 12 months, and I’m undecided whether to cancel now anyway.

lazy devs It's ok, but way too expensive for how lazy they've got lately. No new features, like antive playback speed. That's honeslty crazy, EVERY OTHER music player has a way to control playback speed, why not spotify. I be here looking for "sped up version" because I can't change playback speed. I think I will move to youtube music if this continues to be the case for too long.

Bills constantly going up so it's not about only £1 it's about everything! On top of it when I pay my playlist I have so many songs there and it keeps repeating songs instead playing different. I also only listen music I don't use any books or broadcast it should be a cheaper option for me nly using music! I really hope you will start loosing your customers. Time to look for alternative.
