GBWhen I called regarding promotion i … When I called regarding promotion i only wanted internet. I was offered a promotion that I acceped. That included bundling and able to watch up to 4 tvs. I explicitly asked her to confirm that and also was my final bill what she quoted. In addition the week before installation I looked on line and that promotion was over. I called to confirm that It included viewing on up to 4 tvs. After pulling up my account the answer was yes. Each time I was at work and speaker was on so colleagues can confirm as well. On day of installation upon arrival of tech. He said he had an order for ONE tv. He called in and after being transferred 3 times with him and myself speaking to folk OVER 20 minutes we were told that they could not honor that promotion. It was for 1 tv and offered a higher promtion. I couldn't believe tech did not have a direct line and was transferred around. He was very nice and patient. I declined. I could've accepted Comcasts' offer. I took off a days work for nothing.

GBOver charged after the first year, not worth it! I have had Directv for a year and a half and after my year my bill would go up about 30 to 40 dollars every other month. I have one Tv and I am paying $165 when my initial bill was $55 after the first year it was not worth it. I was told a supervisor would contact me about the bill increase two weeks ago and they have done nothing about it. All I have had is a terrible expirence. I would not recommend this to anyone

GBWhat you are told Was told on phone I could bundle then given number for internet to bundle. But frontier does not partner with direct tv so that was wrong. Was told first month free . Was installed on 18th and charged on 19th and told when I called that that was wrong . I can only assume they you are told anything to sign up!

GBDo not get direct tv We got direct tv because it was part of an internet package with at&t. We don't really watch tv but it was only going to be a few dollars more so we thouht why not. The day we got our internet installed we were told by the guy doing it that we lived in a dead zone and that we wouldn't get enough internet to run even two phones. We gave it a try and he was right. With in less than 24hrs we called at&t to cancel our internet. No problems they have great customer service. When I called direct tv to cancel with them within the 24hours window they give you to do so I was shocked. I have never been treated so poorly by any customer service team. The guy did everything he could to get me to stay and wouldn't take no for an answer. I tried to be nice but after telling him about 25 times that we only got the channels because it was cheap with the package and that we didn't need it alone so I wanted to cancel, I was very upset. I finally had to tell him that I would like to talk to someone else that could actually help me with my problem and he screamed at me! I have never been treated so poorly and then when he finally canceled my service I had some questions about how to send the items back and he just hung up on me! A few days later I calmed down and decided to call direct tv again to have some questions answered about billing and the same thing! This other guy wouldn't stop trying to get me to sign back up with them and I told him very calmly that I just have a question regarding my bill so after I FINALLY got him to answer my question he just hung up on me! They hire a bunch of rude people who care about nothing but getting you signed up. I will let everyone I know that direct tv is the worst company you can go to to get channels and if your reading this review because your thinking about getting direct tv DONT! If you do anything other than give them your money they treat you like a piece of garbage.
