When you cook a lot, you need a good hood.... My range hood came with the house was mounted very low (19.5" from stove top) and it finally stopped working. I compared various brand and picked SC9830 because it's strong capabilities and qualities. The best part I like is the cleaning features. I don't live in LA so I don't qualify for free installation took my husband a handful of struggles to cut the cabinets and mount this beautiful hood.
