Great shopping experience Purchased a steam oven and loved it so much I bought another. 2nd one however I was sent an open box item. I contacted their CS department which was very helpful in remedying the situation. A new item was shipped to me and a return label provided. Happy customer.

Never use this company. There are so many great restaurant/ cooking equipment restaurants out there that have great policies and prices, unfortunately this is not one. Very poor product descriptions that are misleading, very poor customer service to top that off. Not going into a lot of detail, just would advise others to shop around and avoid this company cooks direct at all costs.

The Matfer Bourgeat carbon steel frying … The Matfer Bourgeat carbon steel frying pans I ordered are great. After seasoning them with potato peels, salt, and oil just once they developed a true patina. As Cooks Illustrated said, fried eggs slid around like the puck in an air hockey game. Excellent pan. The good folks at Cook's Direct got these wonder pans to me within 3 days of the order and at the best price on the Internet. I will definitely buy more, soon.

carbon steel pans Ordered 3 carbon steel pans. They shipped quickly. One was on back order but it arrived shortly after first shipment. The order shipped from Cooks Direct did not have any packing materials in the box but the contents arrived was fine. The labeling on the outside of the box did have it marked fragile. I found the best pricing at Cook's Direct. Will order from them again.

Good service - Problem with merchandise The purchase & shipping were fine. The product, a Matfer black steel frying pan, warped on the bottom after one use on my glass flat top range, rendering it useless. I followed all instructions for seasoning & cooking. I have written to Cooks Direct, just yesterday & haven't heard from them yet. If this resolved, I will rate them as 5 stars.
