I think I wasted about 2 hours of their time asking all kinds of questions, and they even sent me microscopic pictures to show how each product changed the edge. Freaking mind-blowing, let me tell you. Even though they are much more experienced at sharpening than I will ever be, I felt I still got treated as an equal. I emailed Jende and then called them and they helped me get what I needed. The results are amazing. Everything in our home that has an edge on it is now wickedly sharp. We are an outdoors activity family engaging in hunting, fishing, camping and I’m a retired chef so my knife collection is fairly extensive. Every conceivable type of steel is represented in our collections and the Hapstone has handled them all. The only exception is recurved knives.
