DEPurchased 2 freezers and 1 refegiratorn - Buyer Beware Purchased 2 freezers and 1 refegirator. From righ when we received them we have had nothing but problems with all 3 units. Freezers were not calibrated from factory correctly and keep freezing up. Additionally, the refrigerator has been having an issue cooling down now and we cannot get anybody from Vortex to support us in getting a service company out. Vortex is not helping with getting us one. Their support is not good and they do not follow up with you. These units have been under warranty for a year and I am afraid of what will happen out of warranty. There are a lot of other products to check out and I would stay away from this company in the future.

GBI ordered a new freezer from Vortex … I ordered a new freezer from Vortex and in 8 days here it is, delivered. No problems, fairly and competitively priced. Personal type service and communication. One of the main things I was assured that should the unit need service, either under warrantee or not it is locally readily available. Beautifully wrapped so as NOT to sustain damage enroute.

GBTerrible Terrible. Bought a pizza table that broke down after 1 year. When I called they said call a technician because they only cover the compressor after a year. Also, the representative or manager(if you can call that a manager) was having an attitude. What kind of product that are new can’t even make it 5 years without problems? Go somewhere else with better warranty and customer service.

GBThe buying of the glass door reach-in… The buying of the glass door reach-in refrigerator was great. No problem. I would buy from Vortex again. The only problem was delivery. The dispatcher gave me a 4-hour window, and called me to confirm. I waited 4 hours and the truck driver called and left a message on my home answering machine wanting to know if I was going to be at the delivery address. We connected 30 minutes before the end of the 4 hours and he could not make it. He re-scheduled for the next day, with another 4-hour window. He arrived 30-minutes before the end of the 4-hour wait. To me this was unacceptable.

GBGreat experience with this company Wow! Customer service was great. I talked to the customer service rep on the phone and he was able to assist and help in anyway possible. This was my first time buying restaurant equipment and I will definitely come back to vortex. The manager made the experience great and he was helpful with any questions I had. My equipment works like a charm and it came brand new in a box. Very clean equipment. Thanks Vortex!
