About Linoto

Linoto designs and manufactures amazing, real linen sheets that help you sleep better, linen napkins and tablecloths that enhance your dining and entertaining events that beautify your home, and linen spa towels that rejuvenate and refresh your bath and shower experience. Most importantly, we make beautiful, soft, artisanal quality products that feel special to us and to the people who enjoy them. Linoto was started in August, 2007. Since then we have shipped more than 75000 orders to customers all around the world. What sets Linoto apart is our bold color offerings, exceptional workmanship, and the fact that all of our products are proudly made at our workshop in Westchester County in New York. We are passionate and invested in everything we make. Every item is marked on the cloth with chalk, cut with tailor shears, expertly measured, expertly sewn to the same standards as a designer dress, then washed with natural laundry soap and shipped in plastic free recycled packaging. Linoto wouldn't be possible without the skilled and hardworking technicians who cut and sew our beautiful creations at the workshop in New York. They are a like a second family to me. Some of them have been with the company since our scrappy beginnings when we were still working out of an apartment in Manhattan. Making linen sheets the right way is hard work. The fabric is very heavy, very expensive, and requires a great deal of skill to work with. It all started in 2007 when I was shopping around for real linen sheets and I was unable to find any set in a simple, modern style for less than $1000. What's more, I had to wait 4-6 weeks for delivery from Europe. I was so frustrated by my search that I decided to make my own set of linen sheets as well as a few sets for friends and family. The sheets were a huge hit and it was suggested that I set up a website and see if there was demand. I graduated with a degree in fashion design from the University of Cincinnati which has one of the best design programs in the country. We were taught very well how to make things from concept to finished product. I was very fortunate to have all of the skills and machinery required to try my ideas without large capital investments. In the first 12 months (working nights and weekends out of my home while holding down another job) I sold more than 120 linen sheet sets to customers throughout the US and abroad who were so pleased to find real linen sheets at an affordable price.Linoto has now fulfilled more than 10,000 orders to loyal customers around the world and enjoys a fabulous reputation for quality, value, and style.

Years Of Great Products and Great Service The Linoto experience is great from the get-go. The website answers the basics and Jason answers any other questions not covered there. I went a little overboard after our wedding and did the whole bedroom—sheets, curtains, duvets, blankets—in a mix of indigo and natural colors. The quality is apparent from hand of the linen, to the assembly, to the day it arrives and even six years after. One of those all-too-rare experiences.

It’s more than 7 weeks now and I have… It’s more than 7 weeks now and I have not received my sheets. Two weeks ago I called their customer service line and was assured my order was going out by the middle of the next week. Never happened. I called this past week and after a lengthy excuse was “ASSURED” my order would go out by Friday Dec 22nd. That has come and gone and no shipment email as of today. I would actually accept reasonable delays if they proactively kept me informed or offered maybe expedited shipping due to the delays, but nothing ! It’s to bad because their sheets are good quality but I will find another provider of quality linen sheets for sure.

Repeat Customer I have used Linoto twice now and both times I am happy. It takes a little time to get your order because I believe it is all custom made. Also, Linoto does not tell you but orders are sent SIGNATURE REQUIRED which is a hassle, but when ordering a high value item, it makes sense. Also, even though I only washed previous sheets lightly as directed, they still wore out (much much much faster than cotton). I think this is to be expected to remember to wash only when needed and carefully and never dry is my recommendation in a dryer.

Dishonest. Pushy. Mickey Mouse. Sheets were not delivered after 2 months. Email support request ignored. I called and was told sheets would arrive two weeks later. 3 weeks later, still nothing. I called again. Was told fabric was on back-order in Italy and would be another 4 weeks. I tried to cancel the order. Next communication: surprise, a set of sheets matching my order was found and would I like to have them? I requested it be cancelled anyway. Next communication: your order has shipped! I requested it be canceled a 3rd time. Next communication: So sorry, they're already in the mail. Are you sure you don't want them? I requested it be canceled a 4th time. Next communication: we're processing the refund and recalling the package. That was 3 days ago. I'm still awaiting the refund and the UPS package tracker shows the package on its way. I'm planning to refuse delivery and if I don't get my refund in 7 days, I'll be filing a complaint with the New York Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Frauds and Protection.

ORGANIC BELGIAN LINENS, REASONABLY PRICED There are virtually no other online stores from which you can buy XL Twin Cal King linens with those few more inches needed to keep the sheets on an adjustable bed frame. But whatever your size requirements, there are no others online who offer as many color choices, either. And then there's the organic linen, in nature's own colors--just. WOW. Softer with each wash, warm in winter and cool in summer, Linoto's linens are also beautifully sewn to last. These are, indeed, heirloom linens. Kudos, Linoto!
