About The Solid Wood Cabinet Co.

“Everyone always asks... how can you afford to charge so little for such a high quality product?” Here’s our story...the Solid Wood Cabinet Company is a “factory-direct” retail company, established in 2002, that has sold over one million cabinets. Last year we delivered over 4,000 Dream Kitchens. Our products are sourced directly from our factories worldwide to our 160,000 square foot assembly facility where we stock over 100,000 cabinets and build over 1,500 cabinets each week. We cut out the middlemen which means you are getting low factory direct pricing for a premium, high-quality product. Many of our competitors sell cabinets that are made with MDF or particle board construction and other sub-par materials. Because of the superior solid wood quality, and 25 step finish, we can offer a ‘‘Lifetime Warranty’’ on our cabinets compared with the five or ten year warranty you see elsewhere. Our cabinets are proudly designed by Solid Wood Cabinets in Pennsylvania, parts are fabricated globally, they are assembled in our Levittown, Pennsylvania factory, and are KCMA certified and Carb 2 compliant. We manufacture our cabinets to strict quality control standards. With European style hinges; dovetail drawers with soft-close, full-extension and under mount glides; 6 way adjustable hinges; stained-to-match finished interiors, metal rear ‘L’ bracket assembly, 1/2” rear hanging rail, and much more, they offer superior quality and finish. Our cabinets undergo a 25 step finishing process and are built with Grade ‘A’ plywood box construction and a solid wood door and face frame.

Was told that my cabinets would come… Was told that my cabinets would come with both solid wood and the glass that I paid extra to get. Not true. Cabinets are not “Factory Direct” in my opinion. I wanted American products sourced and built locally. These cabinets were made in China. Only the doors are solid wood. The cabinets themselves are a good laminate.

We order our cabinets April 2017 We order our cabinets April 2017, we were told cabinets would arrived June 2017. Its now October 2017 and we are missing parts!!! The "customer service reps" don't even bother to call to let us know whats going on, we have to call them and that's when we find out our missing parts are yet once more delayed. We have been given 9 different dates! NINE! Will NEVER buy from this company again or refer anyone. They are quick to take thousands of dollars from you and after you paid, they completely don't care about you as a customer. Save yourself all of the aggravation and headaches and DO NOT buy from this unprofessional, unethical company.

Better shop somewhere else! The sales lady gave us the name of a company to install. They no showed us and we lost time from work. They did not return phone calls. The sales lady wanted nothing to do with us after she made her money. The cabinets came with several defects, and the installer we hired stated the defects were repaired with the kit they give out to customers! Just ridiculous. We have made sure no one we know goes to this business. Customer service horrendous and product quality mediocre.

NEVER USE THEM NEVER USE THEM! The only reason solid wood cabinet company gets 1 star is because that is what you have to pick to get a review. Salesman DO NOT TELL YOU THE TRUTH ABOUT BACK ODERS! It is an extremely painful process. You do not get your cabinets fully assembled. Doors and Drawer faces are on back orders for months! We ordered in March, delivered pieces incomplete, even reversed cabinets in April. Now June and still waiting on doors and drawer faces!

DO NOT BUY CABINETS FROM THESE CROOKS I could go through a big long story but here is the short version. They sent me out scratched cabinets that were marked up and scratched. They even had touch up marker on them. They then offered to replace them. I reluctantly agreed. When they realized that I was going to hold them to the quality standard that they advertised the CEO Steve Newton called me and said that they weren't going to be ablate send me cab net that did not have touch marker on them. That's like buying a brand new car with touch up paint on it. Normally don't write review but I don't want this to happen to anyone else.
