GBFireplace Remote Found the fireplace remote to replace one from 2006 that’s not working correctly. Almost ordered the wrong one but the information on the online site steered me to the correct remote.

GBThe picture of the remote control… The picture of the remote control showed the unit and the basic hand held transmitter. It didn't come with the unit. I've spent countless hours trying to get the unit to sound regarding the codes with no luck. I've switched out the batteries that came with the unit, added new batteries to the unit and the remote transmitter, pressed the learn button for over the minute described with both a paper clip and a pen. Nada. I've watched videos and still no luck. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated.

GBEasy install I only wanted an on/off remote and was able to get one for around $100. Local fireplace store wanted $225. Personable and knowledgeable sales people with easy peasy install. Would definitely recommend.

She was able to help me determine why the remote I had would not work with my fireplace and helped me determine exactly the one I would need. My replacement arrived on time and worked exactly as described. I wish I would have called Fireplace Remote Controls at the beginning and saved myself some time.
