Sleepless in NY
GBDisappointed all around I was disappointed to learn that US Mattress no longer carries my mattress. So I chose another one, of course three times the price. Again disappointed. In the past US Mattress has always had great quality mattresses at reasonable prices. Apparently they have gone the way of so many others, over charging and under delivering, because 1 day after my order was confirmed I received an email that my order was cancelled: “We cannot ship to New York due to some sales tax issues within our company. Your order has been cancelled.” I’ve never heard of such a thing. And if you cannot deliver to NY why would you not make that clear from the beginning and not waste my time. So I went to my trusty Amazon and found a similar mattress for less than half the price. We’ll see if it’s any good, but at least if it shows up it’ll be better than US Mattress.

GBLowest price guarantee: Don't count on a response. Lowest price guarantee is not responding. Phone call was on hold for over 30 minutes. Live chat cut me off 1st time and took over 30 minutes 2nd time while chat rep "looked into it" with no response. E-mail to US Mattress with competitor advertisement attached was reponded with formated "We'll be in touch as soon as possible". I'm begging to think US Mattress will hope you just give up asking them to match competitor's lower price.

GBassured what I am paying for is a brand new mattress The online Sales representative Tyler L can address all the questions/concerns promptly over online chat, which helped me make a more informed decision. I was very concerned before the chat that the mattress I was interested in might have been tried out and returned/exchanged by previous shoppers. He explained why the particular one I was looking at has not been tried out or anything like that and assured me it will be a brand new one. Thanks Tyler L. Awesome!

GBApparently they cancelled my order… Apparently they cancelled my order without telling me why or anything like that, except a random email from someone that was sent to me by mistake. They don't ship to New York, but still let me order
