GBAnother Home Run by Carpet One Carpet One in Ames makes the whole process of choosing, measuring, & installation of flooring seamless. We worked with Terra Rooney several times & in our latest project, chose carpet. Terra is great to work with, and Tom & Donja Esk were, too. They are true professionals, know precisely what they are doing, & very methodical in their approach. Our new carpet was installed beautifully & we couldn't be more pleased with the end result delivered by Tom & Donja! Thanks again, Carpet One, Ames!

GBWent from a knees knocking, I don't know what I am doing, please help me person to a "Wow!! Everyone come look at my super new tile! Isn't it wonderful!" happy purchaser! Abby, the sales person who worked with me, was patient and understanding. She was professional in sharing possible choices with me. The installation crew was always on time, explained things well when I had questions and did an excellent job on what was not a normal installation. I had an "island" of carpet surrounded by a tile border. I wanted that carpet replaced with similar coordinating tile. It happened quickly and wonderfully. I have had only glowing compliments on the entire new look. Have eagerly told anyone who asks from where and by whom I had the job done.

GBWe just redecorated our living room… We just redecorated our living room with LVP, installed by Kevin Wright for CarpetOne in Ames. This is the 2nd time Kevin has laid LVP in our home & he does a great job! He is professional, courteous, & efficient. We specifically requested him for this job as he had done an outstanding job in our kitchen last year. We highly recommend Kevin!

GBPoor service Poor service, took months to get installed. Told they were coming several times, sometimes two to three times a day where told different times and dates. When they did come tile could not be installed because subfloor needed to be removed. Saleman told them to put over existing vinyl floor causing tile to be much higher than carpets, trip over it numerous times a day! Only way to fix without taking out tile is take out carpet and build up family room floor(17x30 foot room) and replace carpet out of our pocket. Sounds like a good way to sale carpet!!
Disappointed customers
GBPoor customer service We were disappointed in the sales and service provided by the carpet one personnel. Measurement of the product is a key to getting a project done on time. After measuring incorrectly and not ordering enough, we had to wait even longer than we were told the first time. Thank goodness the installer caught her mistake before cutting it. The saleswoman nevers mentioned that the pattern that we had picked couldn't be pieced, nor the price or how to care for it. All of these things should be brought up.
