Bought front door Bought front door, sent incorrect door jamb. Nick's attitude was THEY NEVER make mistakes. I had to send photos showing measurements and ship door jamb back 6'' x 8' to possibly receive replacement. I went to a local mill ordered correct jamb and made sure to TELL OTHERS NOT TO ORDER FROM NICK'S. So far I know of 2 that went some where else.

Purchasing from Nick's Building Supply … Purchasing from Nick's Building Supply was great! We needed 6 interior doors for our new home. The big box store could not even come close to the price, let alone quality of Nick's. We bought the 3-Panel shaker in oak. They arrived on time, in perfect condition and we could not be more pleased. Customer service was also exceptional, especially Liz.

Highly recommend Nick's Building Highly recommend Nick's Building, especially working with Dave. We had a problem with our wooden door and three point locking system. Even though we had not bought them from Nick's, Dave (1) walked us through our problem, (2) contacted and put us in touch with the right locking system people to make our warranty claim and (3) sent us the right hinges so we could get our door put back up. Thank you Dave and Nick's for outstanding service - much appreciated.

Affordable and slow. Didn't email the receipt when asked even though they charged the invoice, they had to be reminded. Botched delivery and timeline as well. They stated 5 business days to crate the material which seemed excessive, and then it actually took 2 more additional weeks before they shipped. It took a month total to get an order of in-stock trim lumber.

Beware Order door from picture on line that showed a product that was finished. They sent the door unfinished. That wasn't so bad but when I went to inquire I received a rather rude message back. Plus I had to pay an additional $75 when the door was delivered for use of a forklift. All of this may have been disclosed in "fine print", but the experience was less than satisfactory.
