GBFame Rug is Astonishingly Dishonest In summary: The dishonesty from "Mary" at Fame Rugs has been astounding. This is not a professional company. I placed an order for a rug from Fame Rugs on October 25th 2022. Two weeks later, having no confirmation or status update, I emailed for several days, asking for an order update, finally gave up, bought elsewhere, and asked Fame to cancel and refund my order. The following day I received an email completely ignoring my cancellation request, saying it'd be shipped soon. I responded repeatedly asking to cancel the order, and was again ignored until another week later they emailed saying the rug was about to arrive. Fame refused to comply with their return policy and pay for return shipping, and instead suggested that I sell the rug and they would refund the difference up to 20% of the price. Super weird and unprofessional, but with little other recourse I did sell the rug, and have spent 15 months trying to get the $68 difference refunded. The excuses are getting absurd: "Credit card isn't working", "Venmo stuck in pending", "Will process when I get to the office", "Have asked my manager to process". Do not give them your money.

GBNEVER AGAIN - Doesn't stand behind their products Bought a washable rug from them. The description explicitly said it was washable. We washed it cold water, gentle cycle with gentle detergent and air dried it. Rug was absolutely ruined - fabric pilled up and rug shrank substantially -and this company refused to stand behind their product. I will never buy a rug for this place again.

GBShipped the completely wrong item Shipped the completely wrong item. Wrong size, wrong description, did not match the picture. Now they want me to pay the cost to ship it back to Turkey. Shipping would be 3 times cost of rug. They said I'll get a partial refund....they lied,I got nothing. UPDATE: Your reply is not true. You agreed the rug was wrong by email. You promised a refund but didn't issue it.Where is my refund?

GBWhere is my 2nd rug … I ordered 2 rugs in November. I received one, which I am happy with. My second rug was shipped to the wrong address and I had to bend over backwards to get in touch with someone about it. They promised that a replacement rug would be shipped a week ago…. Of course it has not shipped and nobody is answering my messages on how to get it to ship! I don’t think I have ever left a review for anything but I feel compelled to because of how frustrating this experience has been. It’s too bad bc I do love the first rug I received… but I wouldn’t order another one because of the horrible time I’ve had trying to track down this second rug. Bummer
