GBI purchased a $330 lamp from Karen Jai… I purchased a $330 lamp from Karen Jai Home. It took months to arrive and once it finally did, it was in a beat up box and had clearly been shipped from overseas. The quality could be best described as a flea market find valued at about $30. It was cheaply made and the picture and description were very misleading. I tried numerous times to reach the company. They never answer the phone or call back. Finally I initiated a return via email and they gave me an incomplete address. I eventually got the right address after stalking them and shipped the sad little lamp back at which point they would only offer a store credit as there are no returns. I disputed through my credit card and resolved the issue through them as I no longer had time to go back and forth with these people. Buyer beware...

GBThe perfect gift for my friend's… The perfect gift for my friend's wedding! I saw the write up on Karen Jai Home on Apartment Therapy and got a vase for my friend as a wedding gift. The vase was perfection and the new couple loved it (even though it wasn't on the registry, lol). They've since purchased pieces from the Karen Jai too!

GBSo unprofessional I have had multiple issues with this business. I was given a $500 gift card from a friend. I ordered goods that were not delivered for almost 5 months without any comment from the company that things would be delayed. Finally, I received some items but some were incorrect (i.e. I received an item that I did not buy but did not receive an item that I did buy). I emailed the company to let them know and they accused me of lying saying that the item had been shipped and they sent me the shipping information. I again reiterated that an item was shipped to me and that it was the wrong one and I would happily return it to get the correct item. They did not answer me so I posted a public instagram message asking them to respond. They deleted it and the "customer service representative" then messaged me and threatened me asking if i knew who their owner was -- I'm still not sure what that means or who their owner is, but finally I received a phone call from Janelle (the owner) directly who further threatened me and then only when she finally stopped and listened to me and understood that they shipped me a MORE expensive item than I wanted did she apologize and offer to send me the correct item if i returned that item. Perhaps unsurprisingly, I returned the item she had incorrectly shipped and she never mailed me the item I had paid for. Because it was purchased with a gift card, I could not dispute the charge. I followed up with them multiple times and they never so much as responded to me. I had also purchased a $98 tissue box, whcih they alerted me was discontinued and I would be credited to the gift card for the amount. Again, I was NEVER credited and it has been months. I have followed up several times and no one has so much as responded to me. Likely because I left a facebook review detailing this experience (check out their facebook page - many people share similar experiences to me, which is just such a shame). I already know I'm very likely to never see my money again, but I do not want this to happen to others who are not so fortunate as to not have to worry about a few hundred dollars.

GBDO NOT SUPPORT KAREN JAI HOME - TOTAL SCAM On 6/10/23, I placed an order with Karen Jai in the amount of $196.27. Months passed, and I did not receive my order, despite my reaching out to their customer support email to check in. On September 15th, I finally heard back from them, and they said they escalated my order to the shipping supervisor. I received one of the two items I ordered -- the less expensive item which cost $35, about ten days later. I proceeded to follow up three times by email about my $138 rug with no response. I messaged the company on LinkedIn, tried calling, and messaged them on Instagram four times with no response. It has been eight months, and I am clearly not getting my rug. Hundreds of people have complained about this business being a scam, and they need to be shut down. I joined an Instagram Live video where the owner, Janelle Langford, was promoting something else, and I messaged publicly that I had not received my products. She kicked me off the livestream and blocked my account, so I could no longer contact her. It is a total scam, and they are continuing to forge partnerships and be written up in media (or at least pose as such, as exemplified by the Architectural Digest article; it looks like a fake write up). They strung me along for 6+ months, and I am totally fed up. Do not support this business.

GBDO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They steal your money!! I placed an order and did not receive a confirmation email. The money (over $100) was debited from my account but did not receive my items. I’ll probably never get my money back. They have time to post on instagram but no time to respond to customer emails. Total scam! Do not trust!!
