Disappointed- Mattress failed after 3 years UPDATE: MattressFirm honored the 20-year Intellibed warranty, thank goodness. Intellibed is no longer carried by MattressFirm (it was bought-out by Purple which is carried by MattressFirm and has very similar technology to Intellibed). Regardless, we chose not to go with Purple, despite the excellent customer reviews — we didn’t want to take a chance of the same gel-matrix technology failing again. So we went with a Tempurpedic mattress, which we’ve owned in the past. “Kudos!” to MattressFirm for making the warranty claim process fair and simple for us. ———— My wife and I bought an Intellibed Nightfall 16” mattress at MattressFirm 4 years ago for $7,000. All was OK for the first 3 years or so until I developed terrible pain and stiffness in my back, shoulders, hips, and legs. It didn’t even dawn on me until this week to closely inspect the mattress to see if that is the cause. Indeed, it is: There is a 1.5” depression on the side of the mattress where I sleep. The last two nights I slept in a different bed and my pain has disappeared. I submitted a warranty claim through MattressFirm yesterday and hope this can be resolved quickly and to my satisfaction. Unfortunately, it appears from other posts here that this is a recurring problem with this mattress and problems not always resolved in the customer’s favor.

Dishonest Company - Do not trust them You have a referral program that clearly states "how simple it is". Maybe you should put a disclaimer on there that if there is a sale you get NOTHING. I gave someone my referral number only for him to be told that since there is a big sale going on now there could be no referrals. That is inexcusable. What a scam on your part. This person I referred was going to buy another Temperpedic and would have if it weren't for me and my time I spent convincing him to go with this bed. Your company is dishonorable. Shame on you for being DISHONEST.

Please do not buy this bed This mattress is so uncomfortable after less than a year. I wake up every morning with extreme low back pain. I have never experienced this level of discomfort in my back that radiating down to my hips. This bed was so expensive, it makes me sick to think about it and I feel trapped with this purchase. I have tried extra pillows, different sleeping positions, rotating the mattress (which is nearly impossible due to the weight). I take motrin and use salon pas just to get through the night. Please, if you read this, do not buy this bed. I regret it every morning.

Uncomfortable We gave it a thirty night stay, but could not get a good night sleep on this mattress. Customer service in handling our questions/concerns and in the ordering process was top notch.

Worst mattress I ever slept on! I purchased the mattress in Feb. 2022 because the salesperson said it was the best on the market and you will not regret it. I regret it! Spent $4000 just for the mattress and have not slept a good night since purchase. It is uncomfortable and I sink which hurts my back. Please do your homework before purchasing an Intellibed!
