GBDead Olive Tree - TERRIBLE Customer Service Ordered an Olive tree for a Christmas present. Delivery to Oakland, CA. Also paid extra for the winterization,. Tree arrived dead after 2 weeks. Customer service is a joke and only willing to refund for the dead tree, not tax or pot - what's the point of full service if the main product is dead? The worst part is the customer service and their failure to reply or offer adequate service. Seems to be a planter pot selling scheme.

GBThis is the only company I trust to purchase plants from 1st of all…I was appalled when I saw the comments of others on this site. DO NOT by any means listen to the bad reviews about this company. I purchased my first plant (literally the first plant I ever owned) from the sill back in 2019. Today, Jade is 4 years old and she is a monstrous monstera. She is in her fourth and final pot and she’s alive today thanks to the careful packaging and guidance of their wonderful support team. I just purchased my second plant, Princess Penelope (a pink princess philodendron, obviously lol) who also arrived perfectly happy and healthy. She already has 2 new leaves and is adjusting beautifully to her surroundings. The reason I am leaving this review is because I personally reached out to the company to thank them since I wasn’t able to leave a review on their website and they directed me here. I can’t imagine why anyone would have anything negative to say about this company and I hope more satisfied customers reach out because their rating is really unfair.

GBThe Sill has provided the worst… The Sill has provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is extremely difficult to get a reply from them - expect to wait days. I received a plant in terrible condition, then a replacement in the same state, and they still have not refunded two plants I never received after nearly a month of my follow ups. Shockingly terrible service. Buyer beware. Follow up - Despite the message below, I did not receive any response or contact. from The Sill. Again, absolutely atrocious.

GBTree came snapped - only partial refund given I ordered an olive tree as a sentimental gift for a family member. Upon arrival, the tree was snapped in half where the support rod ended. Almost every leaf on the tree has fallen off and it was basically bare. While I understand that some plants get stressed in shipping, this was excessive. I contacted the company by email and on the web page. The "live chat" listed on the website was non existent. I provided pictures of the tree and answered the question of whether the box had been damaged. About a week went by with no response, and when I finally did hear back, I was offered a medium size plant of a different kind as they were out of olive trees. They only offered a portion of the price I paid, and when I questioned why I was told that the pot wasn't damaged so they wouldn't be sending another one/refunding that portion. I had already explained that I didn't want another plant as it was only an olive tree that held the sentiment and just wanted the refund. What need do I have for a pot without the plant, and it was a gift (which I had stated repeatedly). There was no option to send the pot back. All they did was refund a portion of my money. Now I have no gift, and an expensive pot.

GBBotched Order, No Customer Service A year ago, I loved The Sill. Now, not so much. On 8 December I placed my order--a plant and planter--for a birthday gift. The plant finally shipped on 12 December. It arrived on time (barely) a few days later. My order was listed as "delivered" and "fulfilled." Nothing was said about my $42 planter. I tried to contact The Sill. Chat was disabled. No phone number was listed. I sent a note. Three days later, I've heard nothing. I disputed part of my order. At least my credit card company has someone doing customer service. I wanted to continue supporting this small business, but I'm moving to their competitors. (C. Turner)
