GBDead Olive Tree - TERRIBLE Customer Service Ordered an Olive tree for a Christmas present. Delivery to Oakland, CA. Also paid extra for the winterization,. Tree arrived dead after 2 weeks. Customer service is a joke and only willing to refund for the dead tree, not tax or pot - what's the point of full service if the main product is dead? The worst part is the customer service and their failure to reply or offer adequate service. Seems to be a planter pot selling scheme.

GBWhere is my plant? Where is my plant? I sent this as a gift 10 business days ago and it has yet to arrive. I haven’t gotten any updates or communication on when the gift will be shipped. Instead I’m getting daily marketing emails from the company despite the fact that I specifically marked “no” on receiving marketing emails from them. This is terrible service.

GBDeclining satisfaction … I was thrilled with my first plant purchases over several months in fall of 2022. However, my latest purchases over the summer of 2023 have been unsatisfactory. Issues include a poorly pruned pepperomia that I could not display until it filled out, receiving an olive tree stick with a few leaves along its length stuck in a pot, and receiving a broken pot. I sent a photo of the pepperomia and was told it would grow out of its poor appearance. When I sent a picture questioning whether the olive “tree” was truly what they meant to send, the response was that the leaves were green. When I reported receiving a broken pot under feedback, I never received a response. My last purchase in September 2023, I decided to order plants simultaneously from another online source and they arrived the same day. The difference between the Sill and Pafe plants startled me in regard to plant height and fullness. I won’t be ordering from The Sill, again.

GBI ordered almost $1000 worth of plants… I ordered almost $1000 worth of plants and pots. When everything arrived, a majority of the plants were badly damaged. The leaves were either broken, black or wilted. I contacted the customer service within the 30 Customer Happiness Guarantee. They were only willing to refund the cost of the plants, but I would need to pay out of my own pocket the return of the pots that came with the plants. There was no way I was going to allow them to double dip for the cost of the pots. My advice, stay away from The Sill and buy your plants for a local nursery or Home Depot. The plants are in much better shape and the customer service doesn’t suck!!

GBWill never order from The Sill Again The Sill did finally reach out and offer me a $15 dollar credit. I won’t be taking avail of the offer because their prices are much higher than other venues for the same item. The money tree I purchased from The Sill continues to degrade. I felt it much more economical to just purchase a new one from another venue which is much lower in price than the Sill, even with the credit they offered me. However, I must state, they did finally reach out and offer some compensation. I have tried and tried to contact The Sill. I ordered a money plant and it came in and looked healthy. However, upon following all instructions of caring for this plant, it has started to die. These are supposed to be easy to care for plants. I’ve contacted The Sill and they do not bother returning emails. No phone number and chat doesn’t work. I will never order from this company again for the simple reason that they have non existent customer service. So, ya better hope everything goes correctly and stays that way because these people are obviously so arrogant that they feel they don’t have to answer to anyone regarding their product regardless of the issue.
