GBBad experience Salesman very nice, but between the scheduler and installer, this has been a horrible experience! Was told installer would be here between 8:30 and 9:00 am. Never showed up until after 12:30 pm. I made several calls during this time, getting several reasons why they weren't here. When they finally showed up, lead installer read his plans wrong, was rude, and they left me with a huge mess! Then were leaving without moving my furniture back. On the lower level, they didn't bother putting my things back at all. Very poor communication from scheduler and none from installer. I took a day off work, missed a scheduled appointment. Not sure I would use Migala again and would not recommend them to others.

GBService We just started our remodeling project and had many many ideas but not a good timeline. They were excellent in working within our budget and flexible in our multiple changes. We were given options within our budget. We never felt rushed or pushed. They delivered as promised. I would highly recommend them.

GBGreat experience with Migala Carpet One Working with Migala Carpet One has been a pleasure. I have found the personel at the Portage location to be friendly and very helpful. Aside from having to wait longer than expected to get a date for my carpet to be installed, everything went smoothly. The installers did a excellent job and were courteous and careful when moving our belongings.

GBExcellent workmanship The "artist" doing our tiling was very professional, the result exceeded our expectation. The only glitches were from the warehouse, where some of our order didn't get sent with the rest of our materials. This caused a 1 day delay in finishing the job.

GBMy husband and I had a bad experience … My husband and I had a bad experience almost from start to finish. The first time we went into the store, we stated our budget to the sales associate and she told us it would not be a problem and we could find a great carpet for the price we stated. We also told her that we wanted something with minimal vacuum lines, and footprints as we have two kids and are planning for more. My husband told her we are planning to move soon so we need something to hold up and look great when it comes time to sell the house. She pulled a few choices, we picked a couple options we liked and she drew up the prices for us. Every single one was she promised would be within our budget went over by a long shot, hundreds of dollars at the least. We were disappointed but still saw one we would save for. We waited about a year and saved more money then went back in the store. Same sales associates delt with us this time too. We stated again what we wanted to see out of our carpet, durable, minimal footprints, built to last. We picked one, and set a date to have it installed. The installers were very nice and did a pretty good job, however, as soon as they left I noticed it right away...footprints and vacuum lines GALORE! My husband and I had spent all day moving furniture and entertaining two small children in a basement (and not to mention we had spent more money than our original budget anyways...literally double what we wanted to!) We turned green! But decided to make the best of it. Not even 30 days later, we started noticing extremely poor ware of the carpet! Frazzled in the high traffic areas. My husband called and they laughed and said “this is such a great carpet and it shouldn’t be doing that but we can send someone out to look at it” so they did, and his answer to me was I need clean shoes in my house and babies on the carpet ware it out (mind you this has been a month...A MONTH on 15 year carpet) so we went back in to talk about what our options were (every person we talked to tried to make us feel crazy and told us we would never find something we like as much within our budget) finally got ahold of Joe, who was the head of the branch we purchased our carpet from. He was very kind and helpful and gathered up a few options for us that we got to pick from. So we found one we liked and spent another day (with two small children) moving all of our things and being cooped up in a basement just to get new carpet once again. I have yet to see how this carpet is going to ware. I have my fingers crossed. We felt extremely misled almost the entire time. If we had to do it all again, magala would not be the place we choose to give our hard earned money to.
