I ordered a credenza from 2Modern.com… I ordered a credenza from 2Modern.com at a cost of $2,374.15 which included a $250.00 shipping charge based on my zip code. After I made payment I was contacted by 2Modern.com that I would be charge additional $1,135.68 for shipping or they would cancel my order. Their justification was that I live in Hawaii. If this company cannot ship at the advertised rate then they need to update their website to reflect the actual costs or restrict shipping locations. I will not be ordering from 2Modern.com in the future.

the tech staff was completely… the tech staff was completely uninformed "take it apart with a butter knife" he said, "it won't break" BTW, the wiring on the lamp was also defective and would not power-up. Meanwhile the return process for my $700+ credit and the related email back and forth was a scam. Hoping I would overlook the lack of an AmEx credit, their confirmation email on the refund took 58 days. In most cases a CC company will not dispute a charge over sixty days from order date. They faked cooperation by offering the refund but never process it.....VERY Sleazy. AmEx looked out for me, re-opened the case and got me the credit.

Don’t believe the haters! Great selection of modern furniture and lighting! I bought a couple Pablo lamps and very happy with the order communication and the lamps work great in our space. I had a question and their team replied the same day via email. Will return!

Ordered White Glove service Ordered White Glove service. Upon delivery, I was told that White Glove doesn't include assembly? Never heard of that before and I have ordered tons of furniture in the past as a trade partner of West Elm, Crate and Barrel, Pottery Barn and others. In addition, the delivery company refused to remove the boxes! Called customer service, and was told that White Glove doesn't include even light assembly, and that I can return the item but I'd have to pay for shipping. The table itself is beautiful which is why I give it 2 stars not 1.

BAIT AND SWITCH There seems to be a pattern these days of companies giving you a shipping date with your purchase, waiting 2 days and then giving you a much longer shipping date. This company is guilty. I have canceled my order and suggest you don't be silly enough to place one to begin with. After placing my initial order which was to be shipped in 2 days, I then received a letter saying it would be another 10 days. I immediately called and told them to cancel the order at which point they said it had already been shipped. then I received yet another notification saying the order had been shipped and would be delivered as was originally promised. it was delivered as originally promised and I refused the delivery. I will not support this type of BS A documented the emails and the baked and switch technique.
