GBATTY GEN. OF OHIO SHOULD INVESTIGATE THEM I have to vociferously pan these people. What a bunch of thieves. This is one of the worst reviews I could possibly give. I don’t think I’ve ever been more agitated dealing with a furniture company in my life and this was not my maiden voyage. We have ordered things with some success in the past, but this was a debacle that undid any good will. Ordered a piece of art from them for almost $800 on July 17, 2023. It was supposed to ship by September. In August, we got a note saying it would ship in late December. In mid-December, we got a note that said it would ship in early January. In mid-January, we got a note that said it would ship in early to mid-March. At this point, we’d been waiting six months and Burke Décor had our money the entire time. On January 23, 2024, I asked for the item to be refunded in full. On January 30, 2024, they had me upload my banking details into a portal because it had been so long that the refund had to be conducted via ACH instead of to the card I no longer had the same account number on the Mastercard. They told me this would take 7-14 business days, which is a wild amount of time for an ACH. I had communications with them several more times including March 12, March 14, March 18, April 3, April 6, April 9, April 19, and April 24. All the while, they insisted either that the money had been sent to me and arrived, or actually that they had a new processor and it was going to take a while, and that they’d have their accounting department reach out to me. I tried calling the company many times and could not get a call back. Never could I get the same customer service rep on e-mail to respond to the same chain – it was someone new each note. Nobody was there to manage a case or fix a problem. I even began the process of filing a police report in Ohio for fraud before they finally refunded my money which hit my bank account on April 27. These funds were with Burke Décor for nine and a half months, and they withheld my refund from me for three months. I understand they have done this to other people from other reviews. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO SPEND YOUR MONEY. THESE PEOPLE ARE LYING SACKS OF YOU KNOW WHAT.

GBI’d give zero stars if possible I’d give zero stars if possible. I placed an order in April of 2023 for a book vase. August rolled around and I hadn’t heard anything so I reached out and heard back that “it’ll be shipped in late October.” Fine. Whatever. October comes and goes and nothing so I reached out again and get this response “sorry! Late January 2024.” Seems like it’s crazy but alright. Again, January comes and goes and I have to reach out “late Feb.” the last time I reached out was the beginning of March where I was told “early April.” It’s now the end of April and I’ve canceled my order. I get that issues with shipping and developing products can happen. But it’s been a year. What frustrates me the most is that I consistently had to reach out. There was nothing proactive from the company to tell me about all of these alleged delays. I’ve put in for a refund and it seems a little scammy but they’ve said I can either get a physical check or give them my bank info for a direct deposit. I don’t trust this company as far as I can throw them so there’s no way they’re getting my bank info. Scam company. Avoid at all costs.

GBGreat Customer Service Customer service treated me very well when I had to cancel an order. I started my return via Chat on line/on their website. All was handled very well and I was refunded within the 10-14 days promised.

GBI have been waiting for a lamp to get… I have been waiting for a lamp to get shipped to me going on 5 months now. I call the customer service line --no one ever answers. I've probably left 10 messages. I have yet to receive a phone call back. Don't waste your time with Burke Decor. This is my first time shopping with them & definitely my last.

GBNEVER RECEIVED REFUND ON CANCELLED ORDER Ordered two table lamps back in NOVEMBER. Despite being listed as IN STOCK with Visual Comfort they were repeatedly delayed. Finally ran out of patience and cancelled order. Unable to get refund despite multiple attempts. Keeps getting "escalated" but nothing happens.
