Made in Italy, but M10 metric mount not US 3/8 inch Generally, i was delighted to find these light sockets made in Italy and not China. Delivery was pretty quick by DHL from Italy, and the sockets seem well made. My only issue is that the bottom of the socket is a female threaded connection that ALMOST fits onto a standard US 3/8 inch threaded lamp tube, but is a metric M10 1.0 thread that doesnt really fit (although it can be jammed into the US connector). I emailed a question about this to the website but got no answer and took a chance - it didnt pay off, but maybe i can use these sockets some other way.

Finish on socket could be better Great selection and fun products. We bought some plug-in pendant cables to use with a decorative bulb without lampshade. Just a bit disappointed in the quality of the finish of the socket; it’s not smooth and even but scratched and marked - it looks like it came out of a big bin where it was tossed around with a bunch of other sockets. Luckily, you don’t notice this unless you’re up close, which doesn’t happen in our setup.
