GBFamily meal for ten people Family meal for ten people, we had to pre-order from a 3 course set menu which we all did. Food and service was ok although the choice was limited. Problems started when the bill came, the price of every single course for the ten people had been increased adding approximately £70 to the bill, then Vat added separately after. Bar manager stated they had recently increased the prices although we had only just received the prices. Nice place but watch your bill for mistakes and take your own drinks

GBAmazing Customer Service & Products Ordering was easy, a real person answered the phone when I called with a question. Everyone I spoke/emailed with were professional, friendly and helpful. When I left a message, my calls were returned promptly. Unfortunately the items I ordered did not work with my current project so I had to return them, but it was so easy! I will always look to Van Dyke's, you may pay more, but you get great customer service and their products are beautifully constructed and made to last another 100+ years!

GBStayed here overnight for my birthday… Stayed here overnight for my birthday new years eve. The room was beautiful. However, we attended the Sherwood suite for the 3 course meal, the beef was that tough I had to hold my partner's plate whilst he cut into it. Also wasn't impressed the fire alarm went off at 3am!! And had to vacate outside obviously but when we approached a member of staff before we left and paid, we got shrugged off and didn't even get an apology or better yet some form of compensation! Doubt we will be returning

GBOrdered turned wood corner moulding… Ordered turned wood corner moulding guards for my hallway walls. They were of nice quality but one was warped and the other had a slice missing from the top of it's finial. I gave a call to customer service and they promptly sent two replacements with no problem. Corner guards have created a fine finish accent and protect the corners in the winding hallway from nick's and smudges.

GBEssentially - they LIE 100% of the time. Order place mid July 2023. I have repeatedly asked, via phone and email, if the item we ordered is in stock. ALL of the customer service agent assured me (more than five times) that it was. Both phone calls made within 10 days of each other, resulted in the man who answered the phone, telling me it absolutely will ship 'within the week'. And that they will send tracking information 'in the next day or two'. THEY ALL LIED! I really think they couldn't be bothered to actually verify with their supplier. It's disgusting behavior and the disrespect has gained nothing more than a one time purchase of $100 versus years of a business relationship. Good luck to them with that.
