Best Selection, Best Quality The items I purchased were exactly what I was expecting. I always go to Van Dykes for the anything I need for a dyi project. Great selection, unusual items. When we built our home 27 years ago, Van Dykes is where we went. We purchased beautiful brass return vent covers for our formal rooms. So much better than the standard louvered metal ones that builders use. You cannot go wrong with them. My only irritant is that their shipping seems to take so long, but in the end it is always worth the wait.

Great prices! You just can’t beat the prices at Van Dyke’s! I used to always double and triple check everywhere else, but after so many times of Van Dyke’s being the most bang for my buck, eventually I just started going straight to them.

Essentially - they LIE 100% of the time. Order place mid July 2023. I have repeatedly asked, via phone and email, if the item we ordered is in stock. ALL of the customer service agent assured me (more than five times) that it was. Both phone calls made within 10 days of each other, resulted in the man who answered the phone, telling me it absolutely will ship 'within the week'. And that they will send tracking information 'in the next day or two'. THEY ALL LIED! I really think they couldn't be bothered to actually verify with their supplier. It's disgusting behavior and the disrespect has gained nothing more than a one time purchase of $100 versus years of a business relationship. Good luck to them with that.
