GBIn life you get what you pay for When you consider the quality of the products that Van Dyke sells it more than justifies the cost of some of their items. I get that not everyone can appreciate purchasing quality goods, but then at least don’t complain about the prices? It’s not expensive, it’s just not a price you’re willing to pay. There’s a difference, and I personally think America’s economy and society as a whole would be doing a lot better if more people understood this.

GBI am editing my review because I did… I am editing my review because I did receive a call from Van Dyke's and they were very apologetic and wanted to straighten out the mess that was made with order. They did refund my money and also gave me a credit for $50.00. While the buying experience was not the greatest for me and it was my first time buying from them, I must say that they did what companies should do that have a customer service model that includes trying to retain unhappy customers. I am willing to give them another chance.

GBGreat variety of hardware at reasonable prices VanDykes's carries the most unique items and a good cross-section of pricing, so you can always find what you want. I have ordered from them several times and have never had a problem with the quality of any of the items. They provide a good description so you know exactly what you will get. Their service staff are excellent to deal with and easy to reach - no long waits to speak to someone). This is my go to store for hardware and accessories for my colonial home. i particularly like their rustic iron hardware for trunks and the like.

GBEssentially - they LIE 100% of the time. Order place mid July 2023. I have repeatedly asked, via phone and email, if the item we ordered is in stock. ALL of the customer service agent assured me (more than five times) that it was. Both phone calls made within 10 days of each other, resulted in the man who answered the phone, telling me it absolutely will ship 'within the week'. And that they will send tracking information 'in the next day or two'. THEY ALL LIED! I really think they couldn't be bothered to actually verify with their supplier. It's disgusting behavior and the disrespect has gained nothing more than a one time purchase of $100 versus years of a business relationship. Good luck to them with that.
