Amazing Customer Service & Products Ordering was easy, a real person answered the phone when I called with a question. Everyone I spoke/emailed with were professional, friendly and helpful. When I left a message, my calls were returned promptly. Unfortunately the items I ordered did not work with my current project so I had to return them, but it was so easy! I will always look to Van Dyke's, you may pay more, but you get great customer service and their products are beautifully constructed and made to last another 100+ years!

Great - Communication could be better, though. I ordered carriage door hardware for 5 overhead garage doors which is a lot of pieces. Van Dykes is usually quick to ship orders so after 2 weeks when I hadn’t received an email that my order had shipped I called customer service. They politely told me they didn’t have enough inventory to fulfill my order. A few days later I received most of my order and the remainder arrived a couple of weeks later.

About the same as what I'm reading on… About the same as what I'm reading on here regarding Van Dykes, I gave them a card number and yet they can't figure out how to use the number I gave them? Then they took my order for a few items and that order has maybe gone into a Black Hole, spinning out away into the remote corners of the Universe? Whoever wrote that they have nothing on hand is correct, they haven't anything on hand, as far as we know they're buying our ordered items from a street vendor in Pakistan.

Stayed here overnight for my birthday… Stayed here overnight for my birthday new years eve. The room was beautiful. However, we attended the Sherwood suite for the 3 course meal, the beef was that tough I had to hold my partner's plate whilst he cut into it. Also wasn't impressed the fire alarm went off at 3am!! And had to vacate outside obviously but when we approached a member of staff before we left and paid, we got shrugged off and didn't even get an apology or better yet some form of compensation! Doubt we will be returning
