Great prices! You just can’t beat the prices at Van Dyke’s! I used to always double and triple check everywhere else, but after so many times of Van Dyke’s being the most bang for my buck, eventually I just started going straight to them.

Great - Communication could be better, though. I ordered carriage door hardware for 5 overhead garage doors which is a lot of pieces. Van Dykes is usually quick to ship orders so after 2 weeks when I hadn’t received an email that my order had shipped I called customer service. They politely told me they didn’t have enough inventory to fulfill my order. A few days later I received most of my order and the remainder arrived a couple of weeks later.

Amazing Customer Service & Products Ordering was easy, a real person answered the phone when I called with a question. Everyone I spoke/emailed with were professional, friendly and helpful. When I left a message, my calls were returned promptly. Unfortunately the items I ordered did not work with my current project so I had to return them, but it was so easy! I will always look to Van Dyke's, you may pay more, but you get great customer service and their products are beautifully constructed and made to last another 100+ years!

Greedy people; poor customer service Edit/Update: Van Dyke's eventually sent me some replacement hardware at no cost. So, they came through in the end. Original: Ordered a $3300 library ladder with a hardware kit that had to be ordered separately, using a Van Dyke's ordering system that deliberately shorts you on hardware kit parts (you know, because $3300 isn't enough -- Van Dyke's wants more). Took 5 attempts to get through to CSR (they ignore emails) -- was told: "too bad, take a hike". Great. Much enjoyment working with a company that thinks $3300 for a library ladder isn't enough. And thinks their customers are just in the way.
