GBAmazing Company and Amazing Product Support I had a pet door installed through a solid concrete wall about 10 years ago. Last year I finally had to replace the flaps. I purchased the flaps and replaced them myself. One of them started to tear and I contacted the company who immediately took care of me and sent out a replacement. I would recommend Hale Pet Doors to anyone who needed a professionally installed door and or course amazing support. Pudge and Brutus thank you for your kindness and support.

GBGreat Product We have had a Hale doggie door for about 10 years. Every so often we must order replacement flaps, which we did recently. The web site was easy to navigate. However, I am confused as to why we were required to create an account just to order flaps. Then after ordering the flaps we heard nothing from them. After 10 days I finally called them to ask what was going on. So, while I love the product, I think they need to make giant strides towards maintaining communication as to when the order is expected to arrive so that we don't feel abandoned! All arrived safe and sound even if slow.

GBreplacement of door flaps Great product lasted 20 years of use by four dogs. When the time came to replace the door flaps viewing the video was certainly beneficial, though no where as easy as depicted when it came to removing old screws, several of which simply striped. Without the use of my Dremel and cutting discs to either cut the screws or create a good slot in the head for a flat blade screw driver, I would have been in serious trouble. Anyway, after an hour or so of sweating and swearing, all is well. I hope for another 10 or 15 years of service from this door.

GBSturdy, Handsome, doggie door. Definitely one of the best on the market at a reasonable price. I bought the small-medium-tall wall unit - Clear instructions, solid materials and excellent construction make this a great door, I installed it myself in about 4.5 hrs. The only problem a home installer might have is cutting the tunnel as it is a nice heavy gauge sheet metal (fortunately I have a full set of tin snips). The flaps are really well made with three magnets on each one so it provide a great seal. If your dog is timid about going into or under things I would recommend getting the training flap. I made one and it is helping but the Hale one looks like it would be much better.

GBHigh Quality Product The Hale Pet Door is a very high quality product. It is relatively easy to install and keeps the wind and cold air out of the house. The metal security door slides in easily and further insulates the door from the cold. The magnets are very strong, so it too my 8 pound dogs a day or two to get used to opening the flaps, because our old doggie door had weaker magnets. There is a dip between the inside and outside frames that I filled in with a strip of wood to make it easier on our dogs paws. Although relatively expensive, it is 10 times better than the relatively inexpensive plastic doggie doors.
