GBI have won two auctions from this site… I have won two auctions from this site only to be contacted and made to either up my bid or offer a counter offer. Which is usually close to what you would pay for the vehicle in an open market through actual car dealer. If the vehicle has a reserve it should be disclosed at the time of bidding by the auction. If not it's a waste of your time and a hold on your credit card which means you can't bid on anything else for the entire back and forth process and until your deposit is credited back to your account. Total waste of time use copart instead. Funny enough the car was listed there too(verified via vin) which has the auctions reserve

INA lot of people were happy with the… A lot of people were happy with the auction, but I think that first-time bidders would be better off if they were always reminded of all of the different fees that were charged, as well as the transportation costs. Invoices would be great if you could put this all on one page, like that. It would be good for us, them, and them. The staff is very good. They make you feel important and don't care how big or small your bid is. I think everyone should use Ridesafely.com.

GBRidesafely.com allows the general… Ridesafely.com is a Broker that allows the general public to bid for crashed vehicles at auctions where only Dealerships, Salvage Yards, etc. can normally bid. The final price I paid was about $1000 more than my bid (excluding tax, title, and transportation which I would have had to pay no matter what). Of that $1000 about $300 went to Ridesafely so it is reasonably priced. The only downside is that all brokers (Ridesafely too) use unsecured funds to pay the auction company. This means that the Auction Company's fee gets bumped up 200-300 dollars. I researched and there is no easy way to bid at private auctions though so the extra cost is worth it.
