GBOperating under several different names, Garage Door and Gate Services, Garage Door Nation etc, this company does not follow through on their promises and does not provide the product paid for I hope that this review is for the right company. It is difficult to determine for sure because they use so many different company names and email addresses that it's just about impossible to figure out the actual name of the company (which I am quite sure is by design). On the invoice and in various communications they are listed as "Garage Door and Gate Services" "garagedoorandgaterepairok @ gmail.com", "Garage Door Nation", and "Cali Garage Repair" and use several different phone numbers including 888-676-2896, 662-767-7811, and 805-886-5043 We had a gate keypad that worked but was sometimes temperamental so we contacted this company to replace it. Nick sold us a new post and keypad system for $1250 and told us that two remote controls were included with the sale, The installer (Wilber) came to do the replacement on November 8, 2022 and we asked him when he finished the work if he had the remote controls. He said that he did not have them with him but would have someone contact us. We never heard anything back so on November 16 we contacted Nick, the original salesperson with the following texts "Hi Nick, we are happy with the gate replacement. You had said you could get us a few remote controllers. We would really appreciate that when you have time." He responded "Hey, how many do you need?' and we said "Two would be great". Nick never brought us our controllers and over the next 6 months we continued to contact him about them, but our texts were never acknowledged. Without the gate remotes we can not close the gate because to leave the driveway we can not reach the keypad to open it. So. for all intents and purposes we no longer have a usable gate on our property. We called the main company line after months and months of no repsonse from Nick and someone (Amir Osipenko?) claiming to be the owner called us back. He said that no remotes were included in the $1250 install and unless we could show where they were on the invoice he would not be providing them. We told him that we had direct communication from his salesman both before and after the install that remotes were included, but he claims that Nick no longer works there. Whether or not Nick still works there, this man was calling us from "Nick's" phone and could easily see the text messages between us himself. He was rude and condescending, insisting that unless we could show remotes on the invoice that we were not due them and then he hung up on us. Prior to them coming we had a gate that worked perfectly well with the existing remotes we had, but the keypad did not work very well and the code had to be entered several times for it to work. Now we have spent $1250 for a box and keypad that makes our gate completely unusable. This company is a scam and does not follow through on the promises made by their own employees IN WRITING. The very fact that they apparently operate under 4 different company names should scare off anyone considering using them immediately.

GBBad garage door experience. If you are looking with your garage door to be fixed don't go to Garage Door Nation they are very hard to contact and besides if they got mistake with your order there's no way that they will replace it. Stay out with this company. Arnel

GBMade a bad situation right Had a shipping nightmare. Springs were taking much longer than they originally said. They communicated through every step. They ended up sending me the springs for free. I expected maybe a discount or and upgrade on springs. I think they did best possible job in a tough situation. I appreciate the communication and the refund and the free springs. Major props.

GBThese people are scam artists These people are scam artists. They don't actually make or stock any of these products. When you order from them, they just go order the parts from another website (Service Spring Corp) for a fraction of the price, and they keep all the profit. Save yourself time and money and just order the springs directly from a manufacturer instead of paying 4x as much through these guys. In addition, the product will arrive all beat up and damaged. It looks like it was packaged by a 3 year old.

GBSaved me money After my springs broke I got a quote for over 400$ for a garage door repair company to replace my torsion springs. I couldn't afford that at the time so I went looking for other options. I got the exact same springs that the local company was going to provide delivered with cables and winding bars for a little over 150$. Took me an hour to install so saved me over 200$.
