Working with Independent Carpet One … Working with Independent Carpet One Westland has been an absolute pleasure. Cathy went above and beyond to coordinate the best flooring with our paint and the carpet we chose really made the whole room! The installer Joe Bazzoun, and his crew, moved any furniture that needed to be moved and installed the carpet quickly and efficiently. They cleaned every scrap up and left the place spotless. From start to finish, I would 100% recommend Independent Carpet One!

Incorrect quality of carpet installed Incorrect quality of carpet installed - was told I would not be compensated for my inconvenience. I scheduled a painter for 2 weeks after carpeting - am now told that if the walls are damaged when the second carpet is laid (which will be after the painter comes), that I will be responsible for paint touch up if necessary. Unbelievable! Jeanne and Joe were great but the overall experience so far has been disastrous.

I have a large bubble on my floor I have a large bubble on my floor. Although I told the salesman and the two men who came to repair other problems and someone named Jim, no one has contacted me. I have a party for 40 scheduled for 12/10 and what is on the floor is a trip hazard. Also, the men who came out to repair other problems insisted no one had touched the dishwasher, even though someone must have done something because it makes a terrible noise when opening and shutting and I have to slam it to get it to work.

Consider before purchasing... It started with the estimate in which the salesman, Bob Francavilla, tried to gouge us with the initial estimate. Unfortunately, he did not know we had already received an estimate from another company before going there. It took bartering which I was not happy with, but eventually, we agreed on a fair price. The day of the installation, the installers were two hours late. They used my bathroom and did not clean up after themselves. Once finished installing the carpet, they did not vacuum and left their garbage and scraps. On a positive note, the salesman Bob did offer to come to my house and vacuum. Unfortunately, I could not wait because I had to be somewhere which I was late for because the installers were two hours late. There was no follow up call from Bob. I will not go back and do not recommend them to anyone.
