GBNot very Happy. I had my service started on 07/01/2020, the service person was clean and efficient. He set up my service in less then an hour installed a new board so I may use my smartphone to activate the alarm. IT did not work, and it is going to take two weeks before someone can come out and make repairs. I just regret paying up front when I could have been billed.

GBWorth the Wait! Friends and family of ours referred us to Smith Thompson, but we had locked ourselves into a 3-year more expensive contract with a competitor. The competitor reduced our bill and we decided to wait the remaining 16 months to avoid the hefty penalty. However, when the time came, we made the switch. The installation was quick yet thorough. We are beyond satisfied with the services Smith Thompson provides. We have and will continue to recommend Smith Thompson going forward. They were definitely worth the wait!

GBNot what they used to be! Been with this company for over 10 yrs. Was very pleased, especially when they would call you even if you set the alarm off by mistake-making sure you are OK. Their only job is to contact you when your alarm is tripped to make sure you are OK, and notify the appropriate deparment if there is a situation. I had a guest get up this morning and set off the alarm. It went off for about 45 seconds before I could turn it off. NO CALL! I had set it off myself twice before over the last couple months and disarmed it quickly, which I assumed is why they didn’t call (they used to calL EVERY TIME). After this morning, I can see the trend that they don’t care anymore. And PLEASE don’t chalk this up to Covid! I’ll be searching for another company that honors what they tell you to get you committed to sign a contract. Sad, I recommend this company to friends and my girlfriend-who all signed up. Now I have to let them know how this company is not living up to its promise.

GBDoors Replaced and System Down We had some doors replaced and the result was an inability to set the alarm system. Our system is part old wiring and part wireless. We contacted ST support and got Aaron. He went through the protocols, gave me understandable directions, evaluated the system and came up with the problem. He immediately scheduled a tech and helped me to get the majority of the system back on line. Couldn't have been easier and more thorough. Thanks guys and gals.
