GBNot what they used to be! Been with this company for over 10 yrs. Was very pleased, especially when they would call you even if you set the alarm off by mistake-making sure you are OK. Their only job is to contact you when your alarm is tripped to make sure you are OK, and notify the appropriate deparment if there is a situation. I had a guest get up this morning and set off the alarm. It went off for about 45 seconds before I could turn it off. NO CALL! I had set it off myself twice before over the last couple months and disarmed it quickly, which I assumed is why they didn’t call (they used to calL EVERY TIME). After this morning, I can see the trend that they don’t care anymore. And PLEASE don’t chalk this up to Covid! I’ll be searching for another company that honors what they tell you to get you committed to sign a contract. Sad, I recommend this company to friends and my girlfriend-who all signed up. Now I have to let them know how this company is not living up to its promise.

GBNever Showed Up I scheduled an appointment for a required upgrade to a LTE/5G transmitter on 2/7/22. They never showed up. They called later to re-schedule for one month later. I was told they over booked by 50,000 for that same date. How is that possible? They didn't asked, they told me that will be the date! What a failure operationally. But instead of admitting to it and fixing the problem. They blame the customers for all trying to schedule the upgrade all on the same date, which the system allowed to schedule. Not trustworthy. This required upgrade cost $90 and should not be paid for by the customer.

GBThis company has the worst customer… This company has the worst customer service and corporate personnel I have ever experienced. They are unprofessional, lack customer service skills, and will hang up on you when you ask to speak to the manager. Worst of all, the "manager" has the worst attitude of them all. I had an alarm go off by accident, and they took a while to call, so I inquired as to why it's been so delayed the last year, only to find out they've been calling the wrong number. When I told the manager this, he lied and said they reached me at the number that's been disconnected for years, and then said it was his word against mine. I will never recommend this place. I value my family's safety too much to count on the people I spoke with to have my family's best interests in mind. These people are simply there for a paycheck and don't truly care about their job, which is ensuring the safety of their customers!

GBNot very Happy. I had my service started on 07/01/2020, the service person was clean and efficient. He set up my service in less then an hour installed a new board so I may use my smartphone to activate the alarm. IT did not work, and it is going to take two weeks before someone can come out and make repairs. I just regret paying up front when I could have been billed.

GBRecently switched from ADT to Smith… Recently switched from ADT to Smith Thompson and very glad we did. Their technician, Clint, (Austin area), was prompt, professional, and knowledgeable. This is the 4th home/security system we have had and he was the first to really explain how everything works. He was also able to use existing equipment (including stuff included with our new home that ADT couldn’t use) so our home is much more secure at 1/3 of the price. Clint was also very careful with Covid 19 safety protocols, including mask, sanitizers, shoe covers, etc. Great service!
