GBUnreliable Alarm System … This has to be the most unreliable system that I have owned. I purchased the Alarm.com system through AAA Smart home approximately 15 months ago. I have spoken to support which has not been any support at all, and I’m finally fed up and changing. The cameras rarely work and the troubleshooting feature doesn’t do much either. Avoid and explore or systems. Make sure that whatever system that you purchase is not supported by Alarm.com

GBView from a long time customer. I have been an alarm.com customer for many years. As a "direct" customer, I designed and installed my home system. It not only provides security, but also allows me to control HVAC, lights, fire and flood protection. With the help of ADC, I've increased the capabilities of my system over time. To accomplish and maintain my system, I have had to rely on Alarm.com products and their customer support. The products are state of the art, and their support is pretty close to perfect. They have sent me instructions when I've needed them, and have spent hours on the phone with me, diagnosing special problems. I truly appreciate them greatly - it's like they are part of my family.

GBGreat for busy parents! I have a teenager and a school-age kid at home, I feel much more comfortable leaving the oldest home to babysit because of this service's great features, I get a video clip and a picture when they get home from school. I can even stream live video anywhere to make sure they're being nice to each other. I also get arming reminders when I've left for work. I'm hooking up the garage feature this weekend. Excited to have this in time for summer when the kids are in and out of the garage with bikes, scooters, and sprinklers. It's the worst feeling to go to leave for work in the morning and realize the garage has been open all night, can't wait to have another check to make sure it doesn't happen!

GBThe real problem I’ve read four of the poorly rated reviews and it sounds like the majority of people are upset with a company that installed it and the customer service they provide. alarm.com sells the equipment to the company that installs it they’re not responsible for the installation. I find as a tech they provided great support for their products and often (not always) the issue is due to improper installation not faulty equipment. I will agree the doorbell has some issues.

GBDoes not actually provide security Does not actually provide security. The systems are cheap, and when they fail to perform basic functions, the company hides behind long term contracts to keep you paying monthly. Very frustrating, have tried many times to cancel or get something that works...countless hours testing my patience with customer service, tech support, and upper management. Can't wait until my contract is expired so I can get away from this company.
