Unreliable Alarm System … This has to be the most unreliable system that I have owned. I purchased the Alarm.com system through AAA Smart home approximately 15 months ago. I have spoken to support which has not been any support at all, and I’m finally fed up and changing. The cameras rarely work and the troubleshooting feature doesn’t do much either. Avoid and explore or systems. Make sure that whatever system that you purchase is not supported by Alarm.com

The real problem I’ve read four of the poorly rated reviews and it sounds like the majority of people are upset with a company that installed it and the customer service they provide. alarm.com sells the equipment to the company that installs it they’re not responsible for the installation. I find as a tech they provided great support for their products and often (not always) the issue is due to improper installation not faulty equipment. I will agree the doorbell has some issues.

Ok...I have tried to like everything… Ok...I have tried to like everything about Alarm.com. Their equipment is horrible. Everything seems to fail. Things disconnect. After arming we get errors....zones bypassed, smokes that don't work, auxiliary panel disconnected. I have written to them for support and they do not answer. We were promised access control for our office system, and it appears that Alarm.com refuses to send the equipment to our local security company. This has been ongoing for 6 months. We just give up.

Absolutely the best!! I've been with Alarm.com for many years. Started with the old Concord panel. You have always been there for me in advising on new products, helping with install, setting up the system, and parts support. Customer service is always courteous and professional AND most of all technically proficient! Love you guys!!

Joined Dec 4th 2017 Joined Dec 4th 2017, due to faulty cheap cameras they sell and have installed my video clip quota of a 1000 was reached in less than 2 days, unable to adjust and fix. Have to wait another week or two for two more new camera replacements, now they have shut my security system down till Jan 4th and its their faulty equipment that caused the issue. Definitely not recommended to sign with them, am looking for other options now. Their ad for their product is a lie and a scam, they steal your money and run.
